I'm quite intrigued by the Dreadnought that they have on this page... Link! Could this be the Ironclad? |

6 elites! i can play my 4 termie squads and 2 dreadnoughts ![]() and the dreadnought does look suspiciously like an ironclad should, although the weapon on the right looks something like a FW CCW |

That terrain is indeed looking awesome! I'm liking the look of these Planetstrike scenarios, seems like you can play some larger point games with a twist, and easier to arrange than an Apocalypse game. Now to get my hands on some more Drop Pods... |

Planetstrike, lol. I remember when I was shot down for even mentioning it last year by my manager. To be honest, it looks a little like an "organised apocalypse" game, but probably with a heap of special rules too. Could be interesting. . . Dave out. |

I remember being shot down so many times on Warseer about Planetary Empires - despite having held a frakking pre-production copy in my hand - and having been shown through it. |

this looks like an expansion i might actually play, as opposed to lets just get as much stuff on the table as possible! I love playing with asymetrical FOCs, means things work slightly differently ![]() *six hammerheads* *drool* |

Looks promising so far - interested in the 6 heavy slots for the defenders, could be fun as a guard player! |

I feel like a bit of a killjoy. Models-wise the only thing I've seen so far that I like is the DA fortress, but I don't actually want one. Rules-wise I'm a bit concerned that the changes to the FOC are unbalancing, but we'll see how that pans out. I hope there are some other releases we haven't seen yet. It's going to take some more nice models to get me excited about this one. |

I suppose most people would be just glad to get their hands on the fortress. Better still, if this in turn leads to them getting a plastic thunderhawk, the rules themselves may as well be pants!!! I have to say I've not fully played out a true cityfight game but have happilly incorporated aspects into other games. This may be the same. The release however does seem to coincide with my timings for starting on the Tetrarch lander model, maybe an omen for me..... Edited by Digits, 21 Apr 2009, 07:31 PM.

yeah, i think planetary assault games like this is where things like the tetrarch and manta will really come into their own... because you can fit an entire 2000 point army into a single manta
