Ok, well this weekend our group got togthere for a 9,000 point game. Several questions game up that we were able to answer but one was left open ended. On our side of the table there was a objective "WMD's" on a pallet. This was protected by two baneblades and several infantry platoons. Well on the 2nd turn the dreaded vortex gernade came into play right ontop of one of the baneblades. Now my question is did this tak out structure points or should the baneblade be removed automaticlly. Also after turn 3 the vortex went and feel right ontop of the objective. Now in the rules it list all removable terrain should be removed. So we took it off the table figureing the warp just sucked them away. But since it is a objective should it be removed. Below is a camera shot of the area in question. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Looks like a good game to me, very nice. As for the Vortex Grenade, I think the vortex grenade causes a hit on the superheavy chart for the baneblade. I know it destroys everything else completely but sure it just damages super heavies. As for the objective, I would say that is a decision for you guys. Logically, the objective would be destroyed, but if that skews the game too much, you could leave it in place. Course, if one side had the objective to destroy the objective - game won! |

I think the Voretx Grenade takes D3 structure points on SHs, and D6 wounds on Garguntan Creatures. The Vortex Grenade destroys all, including objectives, I think. DK |
