If it comes about that you lot need marshalling.... If you all are on you own hook then I worry that it'll get dropped along the way to "OOH! GUARD SHINY"....

Hence the need for heavy marshalling old boy!

Because we're not doing this by points, I think it's hard to come up with a team format.

I think this is one for those with will power to see it through (lord alone knows why I'm here!).

I have a heap of unpainted Lizardmen, but I haven't seen the new Army Book yet... so... I dunno. The new kits are teh sex though.

Edit: Is the Army of Kroq-Gar still possible in the new rules?

I'd love to join in, but my mates only play 40k and it's a lot of time and money that could be spent on stuff I already want for 40k.

I will enjoy seeing a few more Fantasy logs on here though.

@BodhiTree: Yes is is....Kinda. You have to take a unit of saurus cav. as a core choice.

Well if it's open count me in with Lizardmen(I have a fairly bid army planned).

unfortunately no.
it is there, but it only allows one unit of cavalry as a core choice, not all of them

dammit! Ninja'd!

I MAY join in this one, but a) no Fantasy minis, b) Uni is more important just now (final few months) and c) I am skint lol.

But when Uni is done with (early May) then I might join in then, as if I am just buying 1 unit a month etc then it should be ok, as if I am strapped one month, I can buy a character blister etc.

And my army of choice, probably, though not definetely, Beasts of Chaos. For 2 reasons, no1 so far has said they are going to do them and I do have that army book because I thought about starting them a while back. Traded the minis though lol. Might only have a few Ungors left.

Thanks guys. :) Put me down as tentative then. I have enough Saurus Cavalry to fit the theme at least. I'll just have to deal with massive blocks of them, instead of the smaller units I had been contemplating with the old Army Book.

Seems we have a good challenge here! Myself or probably Mr Dean will set up a Control log. As and when you start up your plogs, send us the link and we'll add it.

Best of luck guys

Maybe someone would like to write a piece of fluff to set the scene? If so, pass it on.

(Now, if I can get someone to give me a run down of the WH rules, I should be in with a chance...)

Put it this way, this is more of a personal challenge rather than a points specific one. You could join up and try your best?

btw - if you already have the models, get painting through April, give yourself a buffer!

before the army list part of your army book, theres a bit on force organisation, telling you what you can and cant do. the best thing about main rules i can say is either get a big book, or a skull pass one off ebay

Stick me down for Chaos then. I may not hit the 1 unit a month quota but it should get me an army painted at least.

Hmmm, well. I do have a fair few units of High elves that need a lot of work, so i guess i might as well join in on this. Thing is i will be moving in with the lady, and starting a proper job in may, so no idea how good ill be able to keep up with things, but it sounds like a good challenge :)

Is it a sort of have n points finished by x week thing? I am kind of new to this concept :)

Cheers, Vergo
