Oh dean, I've started my speargobbo blocks now, one rank down in an evening, starting to think this may be doable, one rank done, 31 to go. For now -voiceofthewarp |

This one isn't scored, it's personal to you but obviously to help everone achieve their goal of an army in a year, we do want one unit / character finished every month. There is no harm in getting ahead of yourself either. If you are away or doing exams one month, then by all means build up a reserve early. Noone will get bent out of shape over it. |

Weeell, I sorta started working ahead, as my two speargobbo units are currently planned as being 80 strong each, which will probably change, but provides an incentive to finish the little gremlins before moving on to the fun stuff, i.e squigs ![]() -voiceofthewarp |

Erm, from my point of view, can I say not yet? I've just lost three out of my four rest days next week, but have just about got everything planned out to get Ammoris done, and then move onto fantasy ready for may, so for me I would prefer not to. |

Oh, warpy, for the sake of maneuverability, units of 30 (or 40, if you want) night gobbos, work just as "good" (well, comeon, they are gobbos...) as units of 80... Just sayin.... :p (also, that means more fanatics!) |

I'm late to the party, but want in. I've got tons of Skaven to paint. Just started on a 35 strong clanrat unit. 1000 down 1000 to go (85 models to go in total, it's going to be a busy easter bank holiday :-0) |

I think keeping it shut til after the Bash is the best bet, even if it opens a little early on the Sunday of the Bash itself. I know a lot of us have something started already, but we're just impatient! Dave out. |

its something along the lines of: Throgg (troll special character) 3 lots of 3 trolls (now a core unit thanks to Throgg) 2 Shaggoths 4 Dragon Ogres i think that can come out to 2k. im not sure how my mate managed it, but he did. this list is probably as expensive as a normal 2k army, with most if not all of it being metal (you could probably get plastic battle for skull pass trolls of eBay) Edited by Brambleten, 15 Apr 2009, 09:56 AM.

Righty, my first unit is done, waiting on more gobbos for the other ones. Or I'll start my archers, hmm. Was thinking of actually doing a 3000pts force for this, as I'll already fill the unit requirements for it, and it means I can get more squigs and fun things and heroes squeezed in, without HAVING to paint any more infantry ![]() -voiceofthewarp |
