For a small snake, it will hold it's head proud of the water in such a manner, but a larger snake won't I don't think, laws of physics would make the weight of the body pull it nearer the water. Such a monster will have been seen long before now too.

"You seen my cow today Frank?"

"No, been too busy looking for the mother-in-law!"

The first one looks pretty fake to me, while the second one could be something like a fishing net, but definitely not an animal as it's twisted very awkwardly.

Its a rare photoshop, rarely seen in the wild, often playful and usually seen bounding into thick fog and out of focus areas.

The top one is probably a boat, and the 2nd one is just too obviously fake. Bit like those fake Nessie pics you see. There is clearly no interaction of the "animal" and the water in the 2nd pic.

Its a fake snake while swimming will generally keep low in the water no matter the size, also a snake that size is physical impossible it would be crushed under its own weight if it every left the water unless it had massive bone structure which then would swimming difficult which out whale like liimbs.

the second one is none biological man made probably a net the is a kink to sharp for snake

Pretty much, the largest fossilised snake was still only 42ft long.

That's exactly what I was gonna say lol.

Adam - when's it fossilised from? I know that during the high oxygen periods there was gigantism - there was actually a Guinea Pig thing the size of a rhino...

top one looks more or less like a grass snake swimming. I have after all, videoed one.

and i would hazard a guess that in the top pic the snake would be kicking up silt if it was really that big...

Someone's been watching too much pokemon...

Although, when I've seen snakes swim the way they do it means that they basically double up and 'swirl' - I really can't explain this but like, if something that big swam the same way it would need a massive area to do that wouldn't it?

Like that, making 'S' shapes along it's body to move forward.

It might be like spiders, critical mass. And if it's not, I wish it was because I hate spiders and snakes and one this big means that I'm probably going to have a nightmare sometime in the next week. :( They really do look photoshopped... Please say they are... Please...

40-50ft long snake, not a big deal, add some seats and you have a bus that runs on cats, dogs, people, small cars, you get the point.

Now if there was a spider around say...over 1ft.

Infact I'd be willing to use that on a spider over 1 inch.

I remember a photo in the eighties of a jet ranger surveying the amazon and a huge snake shot out of the trees only just missing it, huge bugger. I'll try and dig it out.
