Just to let you know, Andy has taken the boards south to paint them in line with his own, thus enabling us to build bigger boards when necessary (cheers mate )However, to save this dying of death, I will instead use the thread to kick off my fortified mission based around this building. ![]() The idea is to gather the new planetstrike fortifications around it. The turrets will get flak guns but It will also need dressing up a little to make it look like it belongs to the Ecclesiarchy. I intend to add draped banners hanging down the tower fronts. Further more I have one set of Pegasus Gothic building which will need another adding to it yet before I put another suitably "churchy" building within the compound. This second building will in effect be the barracks for the Sisters of our Martyred Lady. The landing pad will get used (prompting me to finish the Arvus) for ferrying miscreants off to the waiting Black Ships in high orbit. Who knows, I'm even tempted to build an even bigger principal building!! I'm hoping this in turn will lead me to complete my faltering Sisters Army! Don't expect much for a few weeks. Once the new sets come out, we'll get cracking... |

A Plan methinks you have. Boards indeed painting I am....enough of the Yoda [Not on the floor please] (just tempting people to come out with more ageist remarks anyway). I like it! It has possibilities. Not started on the boards yet though this coming weekend will see a start if all goes according to plan. I shall take photos and publish here. You git! you've got me thinking about my arbites precinct again combining bastion and fortress components.....MMMMM NO STOP! GET THEE BEHIND ME!! I dare not be temped yet. |

Now an Arbitese compound alongside it would look cool and fitting! That's prompted an idea for me building a large concrete bomb proof shelter for the Sororitas vehicles......mmmmm. I like that! Another idea I've just had too......I'll buy a second set of FW dragons teeth and then set the walls onto a permanant base. Using the mines I just bought, there will be a mined zone around them with e teeth protecting the approach road to create a kill zone. Hmmmmm I feel a sketch coming on.... Something like this.

It looks like an extensive project, and would be fun to fight over. Question: How did you make the roof for the chapel? It looks very impressive. |

I used a foamcard floor, covered it with car body mesh from Halfords then cut out a card frame to glue over the top of it. Pretty straight forward. |

I'll have to take a look but I don't think so. I have one fw pillar all ready too. Another thought. I could get a couple of these to represent tombs / crypts withing the chapel walls.

That would be cool. This is the pegasus set I have. I may be daft making it any bigger for the barracks so I'll make it up as is. I then need to make a roof for it.

Digits, this sounds ace as an ace thing. The barracks house must have a removable roof and furnishings! That would be superb! Looking forward to progress on this. Dave out. |

Good man! Well this is the basic size of the interior ![]() The roof will be a bitch to make. I really hadn't intended to start the sodding building - I've two flak hydras to build tonight (gonna be a late one!!) However, I was interested to see how big it was next to the chapel. Quick mock up of the bits I have for it though (sorry about the tango!)

e-bay I think. But you can get them online in any number of shops. Just search for pegasus gothic. |
