There's a 1000 pt tournament this Saturday and here's the list that I think I'm going to use:

HQ

Farseer (55) - Doom (25) , Guide (20), Spirit Stones (20) - 120 pts

Troops

Dire Avengers (6 x 12) - 72 pts

Dire Avengers (6 x 12) - 72 pts

Guardians (10 x 8) - HWP/Scatter Laser (15) - 95 pts

Pathfinders (24 x 5) - 120 pts

Pathfinders (24 x 5) - 120 pts

Heavy Support

Dark Reapers (35 x 3) - 105

Support Weapon Platform (20 x 3) - D-Cannon upgrade (90) - 150 pts

Wraithlord (90) - Starcannon (30), Eldar Missile Launcher (25)

What is everyone's thoughts on this list?

Thanks in advance.

I think you're a little light on anti tank which I suppose in 1000 points isn't that much of an issue. For a tourney though have you found good uses for Support platforms as they seem quite static. Then again looking at the list it would appear you're not really intending moving much as you've got nothing with any real speed and really only the Pathfinders to get into position. Why no Exarchs with the DAs? Why Pathfinders rather than Rangers?

The support weapons are being taken because we're playing on a 4'x4' table. The 24" range and proper deployment should be able to cover a good portion of the table.

The decision to take no Exarchs with the DAs is to not have to sink any additional points into them. Obviously, if its recommended that I consider taking them along with some Exarch upgrades I'll consider it.

The Pathfinders were taken instead of the Rangers to get the better save and also better chance to get the AP 1.

Depends what purpose you have for the DA. I'm assuming they are there to provide some fire support as the Pathfinders will dig in on an objective and the Guardians are the cheap point grabber. I'd certainly look at getting an Exarch with Bladestorm to ramp up the fire they can put out.
