Cheers grandad!

I was in 4x4 today and saw an accident ahead, touched the brakes, backend went, caught the verge and spun me off the road missing two trees by inches. With five kids in the car, I think I used up my luck for the year.

With kids up Wollaton Hall, 1 second after I took this, Sam ducked and that snowball Josh is throwing hit me smack in the face. Git.

Pleased to report it's now snowing very very heavily here.
Report after report on the local radio station that there are accidents everywhere, including the road that two years ago I stood on, whilst on duty, watching about 2 dozen cars (including a brand new Porsche) career into each other and I couldn't do a thing because it's a really steep hilll and people are idiots.

Only just started here, had some damp sleet this afternoon and moved onto stinging hail now. Think that its a little too wet to settle at the moment if it does snow, though with the temperature dropping this eve it may settle on top of the ice. Sporting

Gald to hear your ok Jase

I feel sorry for you guys over there, over here in Norway we have had (shock horror!) sun and not a cloud in sight! Although we have been told to prepare for temperatures of around -10 at night.

Maybe us scandinavians should start sending 'care packages' of spiked/winter tyres which are a legal requirement here (even our skoda handles 10-20cms of snow with these beasts on it) :P

We had about 6 inches of snow near winchester and being told not to come in to work in the afternoon coz everyone was going home early allowed me and my other half to make this:

hehe, same mate, same....

i wasnt even here in december.

what did i say? :P

And yes, snow has the same effect on us, we all go hyper...

well the kids do and we follow suit...

And everyone over here has winter tyres, so snow isnt too much of a problem, its just people like me on dry roads who go round a corner and hit a patch of meltwater that froze when the sun went in...

Pfft you English types, a bit of snow and the country shuts down. Trains, buses, planes in London, all cancelled. We have 2 inches or so in Edinburgh here and everything running fine.
That snow is sufferingfrom severe hyper gonad-ism! To the reproductive organ blimp! *batman music*

Ahem. Yes.

I know! Edinburgh is beautiful in the snow, I'll say that. Though freaking cold in a kilt as I found out last night.
