I'll try and make it this year, coming by train. I haven't actually played 40k in so long I've forgotten the rules, and anyway they have changed, but I will do my best.

I might come, I'd like to, but there's going to be quite a lot of exspensive train travelling for me this summer, various events like the GD winners day, fun, but costly :s

Go post in someone's topic that you normally wouldn't
Just looking through the new WD on my lunchbreak.

What a lovely small Apoc battle. Not like our monster :) They don't even have full marine companies.

My stuff will be out of the exhibition hall by then...at least it'll mean I can lose horribly with it against someone in a game :)

Well as the good chap highmarshaldave might have fixed a place for me to live in I will be coming to the Bash aswell! At least it's like 90% sure now!

I will bring my Elysians and be ready to game whatever the others feel like gaming.

Just a quick question... As it all takes place at Warhammer world... What's the policy for brining non GW models and such? Just so i know if I can bring my Pig Iron Stormtroopers or maybe Flames of War models aswell!

trickone, Flames of War isn't a problem at all, WHW staff allow my pig iron on the board because its a small amount compared to the GW stuff, they roughly work at the minimum 70% GW content in the army as a whole

So would that mean if i bought the praetorians along i could get away with my Perry Miniatures Rough Riders and 16 Highlanders?

Ah awsome... I got about 100 models in my army and two flyers so the stormtroopers is only like 80% of that! Awsome... And you say there is no problem with Flames of War at all? Sounds strange but what the heck, will be fun! :P Will bring mine then with me as they barley take up any place at all and see if we can get a quick game.

Right...

At the moment I think FoW would actually be a no. I was explicitly told GW models only (though I don't think conversions using Pig Iron heads etc will be a problem).

I will however ask the question.

Though keep in mind the boards at WHW won't be at the same scale as the FoW models so if you did play a game on them it wouldn't really match up well.

S'okay Matt, should the oh so generous bods at WHW permit us just one table for FoW, I'll have a reasonable amount of 15mm scale scenery by that point. That said, we do understand its a GW venue, and they make the rules; I think we're all grown up enough to accept that its their house.

Dave out.
