Taking a break from nids (absence makes the heart grow fonder ^_^ ) I decided to start into the titan again. I broke out the dremel and once the main pieces were cleaned i started to see how I could chaosify the beast. The first and easiest was to start with the chaos spikey vehicle sprue. After about an hour i ended up with this

The pipes and extra bits are from the Imex chemical and power plant sets. Far from being done (or even symmetrical) what are your guys thoughts on it. Its missing something but im not sure what as its in such an early stage.

C&C encouraged

Great start with the spiky bits, what Legion is the paint scheme to be?

Im thinking of painting it as Black Legion. I could look into more of the dark mechanicus and the traitor titan legions colors are easy and people will assume right away its chaos (if the spikey bits dont do it) It wont have too much deamonic mutation either but it will have some ooze and some tentacles here and there.. Right now im stuck on how to do the cowling around the neck.

OK time for some updates, After much deliberation ive decided to sell my FOW brits to focus on other things like my 40k and infinity. I love the game and will probably pick up a US armored company later on in the year. The Buyer for the brits however also asked that i finish painting them and commisioned me to paint some other units for it. so in a fit of painting madness i finished up the last 4 tanks and rest of the rifle platoon.

I was also able to squeeze some time onto my screamer killer

More lovely nids, and like the FoW, shame you are selling them.

Hey guys, I was asked to put together some step by steps for my marines and nids so here is the first of the two. First off is a space marine (although the techniques are basically copied over to the tyranids) Painting this mini including drying time took maybe 30 minutes. This process is for my color scheme for the sand jackals but feel free to experiment with other base colors, washes and what not.

Step 1: Prime your model white.
Posted Image

Step 2: Black out the soft armor and the shoulder pads then clean up any over painting with white
Posted Image

Step 3: Liberally apply devlan mud wash to all areas of armor and shoulder trim but be careful not to get any on the chest eagle/grenades/gun holsters/purity seals
Posted Image

Step 4: pick out wax seals and bolter with red (blood red) and any metal areas like the vents on the back pack and the bolter clip and barrel with boltgun metal
Posted Image

Step 5: Wash the red and boltgun parts with badab black wash and then wash the chest eagle and purity seals with gryphonne sepia. and in this case i washed the genestealer skull with sepia and badab black as well
Posted Image

Step 6: Pick out the eyes with red and add two white dots in the corner and done!

There ya go, if you have any questions let me know and as usual C&C is encouraged.

You are truly the king of speed painting. The only problem I could see is that you could be the first gamer in history to paint faster than you can buy.

Thanks guys, ive been working on various other projects so i dont get burnt out on the nids or marines. Ill post some pics of what ive been doin in the next few days.

Angel Robertson-
- The scheme your looking for could probably be achieved fairly easily. just prime the model white like I do, wash the body with purple liberaly letting some set in the recesses (but not too much) then when its dry wash the armor with gryphonne sepia. paint one up and let us see how it turns out!

Marovian- oh how i wish that were the case, ive still got some assault marines and another tac squad as well as some HQ options to do up. Ill get there tho i bet. Im planning on adding some sniper scouts and a tank which im currently trying to figure out how to apply my wash method to such a large model as a predator or dare I say land raider. if anyone has any hints or tips for washing a tank like i do please throw em my way. Im gonna need all the help i can get to make it look decent.

Hey all, just thought i would give you a glimpse into what ive been working on as of late. A Yu Jing Domaru with a Boarding shotgun for the game Infinity. If youve never heard of it I recommend you check out the website www.infinitythegame.com.

I was looking for something that I could slowly take my time on and actually paint the minis instead of washing for effect and Infinity's low model count (im only using 6 as of right now) pretty much fell in my lap and was exactly what i was looking for.

well as usual C&C encouraged ^_^

That is a great mini and a lovely crisp white paint job. I am impressed by how bright you have got the white, tricky thing to do.
