I was think is there away to update Blood Angel and Black Templar with all the new flashy stuff so her are my first few short ideas: Blood Angels: By selecting to use a Space Marine Master chapter or Captain with a jump pack at 20 points (Dante included) Assualt marines with jump packs become troop choices By selecting a Blood Angel Chaplin as printed in the BA codex you my use Death company and their rules as printed in the BA Codex (accept they cost 30p each plus 5p with a pack)(edit thanks to tepok). Select Commander Dante instead of Combat tactics, Vanguard become scoring units Select Captain Tycho instead of Combat tactics, you get Hold the line and stubborn (Edit thanks to tepok) Ball Preds and Furioso dreadnought available when Either Dante or Tycho is selected. Black Templar Emperor's champion you get Black templar vows and Crusader/Redemmer Land Raider as Dedicated transports Take a high marshal (including Helbrecht) Instead of combat tactics you get Rightous zeal, Crusader squads and Sword Brethen but you lose Devastor squad, whirlwinds, scouts and Librarians (edit thanks to tepok) These are only ideas so critism more than welcome as well as suggestions, this is also my first attempt at rules fluff thingy stuff Edited by Captain Wolverine, 7 Dec 2008, 12:01 AM.

I think it looks interesting. As a player of both armies (yes, i do have a blood angel and Templar army too), I thikn that wil give them some nice benifets. But, I think it will make them overpowered in a way, as the armies are already strong in 5th Ed as it is (well, BTs are). With all the new stuff too, they'll be very nasty. DK |

When you talk about scouts in the BT part, you mean actual scouts (as fluffwise, BT don't have scouts) or neophytes? ps. sorry if it's a stupid question, was just wondering. Have still to read part of the 5th edition and the SM 'dex |
