Hey guys, sitting at work and I am thinking about the lack of transport capacity of the centaur. Now what could be said of a gernader squad beefing themselves up to full 10 man squads with transport capable with a forgeworld trailer. I mean they have to use them some how. It would be nice to be able to transport a larger squad using this method. Anybody have any ideas? I dont want to use a chimera as I like the idea of this. I mean heck it might even sell some of those nice trailers over at forgeworld. |

you could probably rock with the centaur and trailer as a counts as chimaira yes. For tourney games its probably too big though... (larger target=easier to hit/harder to hide) |

ah your probly right about the gorgen and yet if I only wish to transport the 10 gernadiers its a bit of a hog I guess. Now count as a chimera there is an idea, you might be on to something. When I get home I will see what my little scrath building head comes up with. |

Centaur with powered trailer on a similar chassis, maybe even with an accordian connection like a bendy bus? |

On the forge world site they speicifly state that the lack of transports are to keep the Death Korps a trench warfare army, there for they do not use fast moving rapid depollyment methods. So if your using the FW list i'd say sorry about the transport but thats they're rules. But as for a towed trailer maybe, perhaps build up a salamdaer with an increased back deck and use that as a "counts as" a chimera for normal games. |

Right, Im not trying to change the forgeworld list but rather create a small tunnel army to add into APOC games. Even if you go by the forgeworld books/army list they call for 20 gernadiers 2 ten man teams with only two centaurs to transport them. to a company i believe. I should probly post my list up here. |

Sounds like a miss type in the codex, I'd just say go for 4 centures working in "two man" squadrons, that way the vehicles stay together. |
