Go post in someone's topic that you normally wouldn't

If you're using Kantor then I'd be looking at using Sternguard. 1030 is a slightly odd total. Any reason why? |

Yeah I would avoid using a character like that in such a small force, and also not on his own. He will be a bullet magnet. Tough he may be, but if your opponent gets the chance he would shoot all he could at him to kill him, hes what almost 200 points in one model. So either give him some dudes to back him up, as Keravin said a Vet squad maybe. Also assault squads I have found are not that great in small numbers. So I would hold off from them just now as well as the Terminators, again you could get a more effective unit for the same points, that in smaller games would stand you in better stead. I would get a tank or two in there. I always take a Vindicator now, great tanks. Or take a Pred. Just some tips there for you, theres nothing worse than playing a game with the wrong force balance, I find its not very fun. SO if you can get it right from the start you are going to have more fun! |
