Christian Bale is crap in the Dark Knight. I hate that stupid voice he puts on as Batman.

I'm hearing good things on the sequel so we'll see. Looking forward to seeing my mate's designs up on the big screen again.
Who's that then? I'm a massive info-glut so I've most likely 'eard of 'im.

Daemon Forge, I'm glad someone actually agrees with me on Bale.

I'm good mates with Adi Granov. And Millar as well. Fraction's been talked to about the new movie as well after his current run on Invincible Iron Man.

Not heard of em but like I say, Iron Man is one of my rare Marvel knowledge gaps. Just been and looked at some of his work though and he is very good. By Fraction I take it you mean Matt Fraction? I personally think he's given 'Uncanny X-men' a massive boost that it has needed for years.

Fiore, nice video. :D lol

Adi did Extremis with Ellis. Yeah Matt Fraction and presumably you also know who Mark Millar is.

I haven't read Mark Millars stuff though the 'Wanted' movie based on his work was... pretty bad.

I always thought it was a shame that Bryan Hitch dropped off the Doctor Who radar after Series One.

Edit- Wait, was Superman:Red Son his? I'm sure it rings a bell. I really liked that, one of the most interesting Superman tales ever IMO.

Yep Red Son is his.

Wanted the movie is only slightly like the comic. The comic is much more superheroey. KICK [arse] coming later this year is a fully faithful adaptation.

Extremis? As in the Iron Man Extremis series. I absolutely love the art work in that. God if I'd have known have brought my comic and asked you to get it signed. I have major respect for people able to draw like that.

I am such a closet comic fan it's untrue :-)

Well he'll be appearing at Thought Bubble comic convention in Leeds in November. And you might even get him to do a sketch. I can guarantee a signature as I'll just abuse him otherwise.

I've never really been into comics, so for me the recent crop of comic/superhero films are all pretty much popcorn films. I have enjoyed most of them though.

Iron Man, Batman Begins and Dark Knight have been the best IMO. I think people focus on Heath Ledger so much because he was [well, someone needs a cool off period]ing amazing as the Joker. I'll agree Bale's Batman voice sounds toss, but it makes sense that he would try to disguise his voice, and as far as that goes I can live with it. Oh, and with Iron Man I love how Tony Stark is almost as cool without the suit :)

Saw Wolverine on Wednesday and really enjoyed it. Makes my list with the other four I mentioned as being a cut above the other comic films.
