Being a bit of a Wolverine fan (not to the extent of the Captain though, more of a Spawn man myself...) I had a search for the film and im bloody impressed. If that was the first X-men film instead of the crap we got first, I would of been a happy man. I won't spoil it for anybody, but there are 2 awesomely hot women in it - the bird who played Kayla, and another one at the end, after the credits...... And yes, Deadpool sucked balls. If they do a spin off and it's like that, I won't even bother with it. |

Don't deny it Wolvie, just admit to yourself that the X-Men films were crap and everyone can be happy. Enjoyable crap, but still crap. The Spawn film did blow though, so many high hopes dashed against the jagged rocks of life.... Much like the X-Men films in fact! |

The only saving grace to the X-men films was Patrick Stewart, couldn't really think of anyone else that could of done Prof-X as well as he could. |

Im inclined to agree after seeing Origins, but it wasn't until the 3rd film that he really 'became' Wolverine for me. |

Out of all current comic adaptations, X-men trilogy is the best bar none. |

Now that is a very bold statement - better than the Batman re-boot? Don't think so.

Seems you have fanboy-itus Wolvie. The third X-Men film was utterly terrible. Total waste of potential, stupid CGI scene with the bridge, the money for the that would have been better spent on introducing some random mutants. Like the guy who produces the wooden spikes for example. Rogue being a pussy was an UTTER letdown, especially seeing as though I have a soft spot for Anna Paquin ![]() Oh and, X-Men trilogy was crap compared to Iron Man. So instead of an awesome climatic battle, we have a bunch of "mutants" with no apparent powers, chucking themselves at the soldiers and X-Men. POOR. Oh and Angel sucked. Ugh. Horrible. Although, Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut = win, and also, Kelsey Grammer as Beast = rubbish. I actually really liked the second one. The director change between the second and third was quite obvious. |

Especially the Batmans, and I should be fan seeming Christain Bale comes from my home town but they are shockingly crap. Heres my LIST (REMEBER THIS IS MY OPINION THEREFORE IT IS RIGHT WHERE i AM STANDNG) 1) Wolverine Movie 2) X-men Trilogy 3) Iron Man 4) The New Hulk 5) Punisher (not the recent one Tom Jane one) 6) Spiderman 1 + 2 (Not 3 thats almost as bad as Batman) Worst films (In no order) 1) Superman 2) Daredevil 3) Elektra 4) The Batmans (Not the Micheal Keaton ones) 5) Fantastc Fours 6) Steel 7) Generation X 8) Justise League of America And yes Chris I am a complete fanboy when it comes to X-men as for me X-3 was a great ending to the 3 films was well happy. And if I was gay hell I'd do Hugh Jackman Edited by Captain Wolverine, 11 Apr 2009, 11:57 PM.

im so looking forward to this movie, one thing that [tinkle]ed me of with x-3 is when Hugh Jackman is walking to the woman at the end (think it was Phonix) and all his skin etc is geting torn aprt, (what looks very painful) BUT his pants are clean as they could be! i think all 3 of the X-men films are great. i havent seen the 2nd X-Men film, but the first and the third were pretty good, but not as good as the new Batman films. Havent seen Wolverine, but it does look far superior to the original trilogy. i think the 3rd one with all the random mutants was spoiled for me by me watching all the cartoons when i was younger, and a fair few of them (like the guy with the wooden spikes) being good rather than just throwing themselves at guards. |

You seriously telling me you wanted to see Hugh Jackman's todger blowing in the wind? The thing that spoiled x-3 for me was the switch in the film from where the writers were taking the story to where the studio wanted it to go. Proof that people who aren't fans or don't work in a certain sphere should keep their noses out... (see rants re: George W. Bush on international subjects, Government ministers on any public service body, the media on anything) |
