thnx mate. Im not sure what size brush i used to use.. i usually refer to it as my awesomely super fine brush. However Ive recently been cheating and using a micron pen to do the black scripting and crosses and the fine brush for the white scripting and crosses. |

OK well since the the visiting family has gone Ive been able to mess around with a few things. Didnt get as much work done as I wanted but its coming along. First up is a new marshal, need to hit it again with primer after some issues.  Next is the my Beta Squad Leader (bolter squad)  heres some members of alpha squad. I assembled them using Khorne beserker legs, backs and some chain weapons and bolt pistols.  and the other half  I also started on the LRC but only got as far as getting all the metal pieces basecoated and I should be getting my FW storm shields in the mail here in the next few days so some assault termies will be up here soon. Thnx mate. Im really liking how they are starting to come together. I started some more work on the LRC last night and got more of the base colors down. That thing is gonna take me a while thats for sure. Also on a side note im gonna try to have my first game with the templars this friday. Im breaking my rule about not playing with unpainted minis but im in need of some extra curricular motivation and think its just what I need. Plus any minis that survive get promoted to the front of the painting line hehe. Do you guys have any advice I could use. I havnt played a game of 40k in about 3 years. |

Your terminator squad captain is awsome!! I love the look of that sword, really like the energy is pulsing through it. Are you going to put those chains with skulls on the LRC?? I can't decide if your in the process of taking them off of adding them. I think it would look great. Maybe remove the speartip and replace it with a skull though.

Hey lis, I added the skull chains to the LRC. I think it really adds a gothic feel.Hopefully I can get some army pics tomorrow during my game. |

Wow you've made a lot of progress on these since the last time I checked. Well done to you sir, the army's looking fantastic. The latest sergeant in particular looks great, I love the face and the auspex is awesomely done. The Berzerker legs work really well on the latest batch, the extra dynamic poses they give look great. |

WOOT well the templars scored their first victory on friday. 1500pts vs Witch Hunters/Guard that was a close game and easily one of my top 5 games. i took a couple of pics during pre deployment, hopefully i can get them up tomorrow. Also I received my next 10 terminators. 5 more assault terminators and 5 fire support termies. |

As promised heres some pics i snapped before the game. The army is starting to look very cohesive now that its almost done.  Here you can see some of the work ive done on the LRC. About 60% done I would say. Need to clean some lines, finish some things and highlight it still.  Heres a shot after the game just showing everything ive got so far.  Close up of the WIP termies w/ the FW storm shields.  A couple more marines that are almost finished. I really like the way beserker legs look on these guys  I got two heavy weapons in the mail yesterday so heres where they sit as of last night. Theyll give me some variety to my squads. The Assault Termies are looking excellent, the army as a whole looks awesome so far, very striking too. Personally I'd paint the sponson shields on the Crusader's hurricane bolters white to tie it in with the Predator. I think it would help break up the black some more as well. |

Thnx HM. Painting the sponson shields is what I plan on doing actually if I can pull myself away from the terminators. So far I was able to get some more highlighting done last night and some other odds and ends on different marines. I will hopefully have another update monday. Going to play a 2k point game tomorrow with everything I have (3 terminator squads for FTW!!) so im excited about that. I also have another project ive been tossing around so that might spice things up a bit. stay tuned! |

I love the storm shields! The look very knightly. Lik ethe way you did the crosses too. Can't wait till they are fully painted. The pose of the right marine is really cool! Bring on the berzerker legs! Lol. I think they should include these in the standard box.  Keep up the good work! |

WOW after a long hiatus (iE home computer being down) and I still dont have internet i was able to get a crappy pic of my marshal uploaded so finally heres an update thats long overdue Only needs some highlighting and basing and hes done. Along with him ive painted a dreadnaught, got some more marines and some more work on my crusader. My chaos and Salamanders army as well as my FOW have been taking up alot of my time so updates on these guys are sporadic at best. I will try to get some more pics next week. cheers! |
