I was wondering if anybody had the new book for the Vampire counts and if any of ya had an opinion on them. Mainly if it's worth having them or even having a big force of them?

I haven't [yet], but my point of view is: if you like the models, get as many as you can afford!

I agree they look amazing, and an army led by a vampire with 'la bestialle' powers (strigoi) would be awesome ...

effectively the same as they used to be, though unit size is 10+ (dont know if it was already or not), they are now Undead, and they do not skirmish...

Personally I think 2 poisoned attacks each (or is it 1? hmm.. but either way) is worth 8pts a piece and as a whole unit... I'm not sure about an army of them, though with the poison they could take on most things...

small to large numbers is good, but only ghouls and i think you're setting yourself up for a big let down :)
