Hey there everyone. We have been discussing the idea of having an area of the forum where you can post links to any eBay sales you have. At the moment the mods think this is a good idea and will benefit the members here, but thats not enough for us, we want to hear what you think! So thats why this thread is here, simpley vote on the poll, and stick your views on the matter down here. There will be a set of rules attached to the area, but they will be simple and there to uphold our current rule of no advertising, which may sound odd but that applies to store advertising. So for now things that are likely to be covered in the rules are 1. Links to personal eBay auctions of your own only. 2. No linking eBay stores, or items in eBay stores - if you want to do this please contact a Mod first. 3. Ebay links only, no linking to other web or "manual" sellers. 4. Link your eBay auctions here instead of in your normal plog or anyone elses plog. 5. No bumping the thread because there are no bids on your auction. 6. You must either remove the link yourself, or get a mod to do so as soon as your auction is finished, to stop build up of dead auctions in the thread. Please Note: These rules/guidlines will be subject to change and finalisation upon launch of this area. And thats about it ruleswise, simple huh? The idea behind this is too allow a pool of eBay auctions in one area that anyone can see, rather than the odd link in someones log, which might go un-noticed by most people skimming logs. So yeah thats it, we want your views on this, good idea? bad idea? any ideas of your own that might make it better etc etc KayvaanShrike (Gav) |

No I haven't set anything up yet, but as far as I can tell all the votes are for such an area, so will look into getting that set up within the next few days. I will put out a general PM, or get an email sent too all members once its done. |
