The Bone Crusher Exiles Once one of the most wide spread and wealthiest tribes of the ogre kingdoms. The Bone crusher tribe where lead by the tyrant Golgamath stone gut. Golgamath. Famous for being the respected slave giant trader, had an unfortunate taste for Cathian flesh, was one of those to lead his tribe into Cathay and irradiate the population to satisfy his tribe’s greed for Cathian flesh. Then the great maw came. The incident almost completely destroyed the Bone crusher tribe. Leaving only a gnoblar sized Handful of their previous tribe. Fortunately for the tribe Golgamath survived. And spent four years gathering what was left of his decimated tribe. The small tribe were then forced back into the mountains of mourn with rest of the Tribes Because of the gases and diseases that were left in Maws wake. Golgamath enlisted the aid of a Butcher named Dorax Blood fist. Dorax and Golgamath made several pilgrimages together to the Great Maw. The Bone crushers had great respect for the god and regularly held banquets in the name of Maw. Golgamath and Dorax started to gather forces in an attempt to regain the wealth and power they once had. Unfortunately Over tyrant Greasus Gold tooth feared that the tribe were getting too powerful and to greedy, He himself feared loosing his post as over tyrant to Golgamath. So he declared the tribe as exiles and banished the Bone crusher tribe to scrounge amongst the highest peaks of the Mourn mountains. But also to add insult to injury Greasus declared that the tyrant whose tribe brought him the head of Golgamath would be rewarded beyond their most greedy dreams. This new legislation meant that the Bone crusher tribe were pushed into the mountains right on the border of the ogre kingdoms to the Dark lands. Constantly under siege from the other tribes it looked like the end of Golgamath and his tribe. But it wasn’t. The tribe was forced to leave the Kingdoms or risk starvation and war. But instead they headed to the high peaks of the mountains to their old exile camps engaging in several small scuffles with a neighbouring tribe searching the ruined camps for any traces of Golgamath. They had only been victorious because of Golgamath’s old giant trading days. He managed to beat the apposing tribe’s tyrant into bloody taters and eaten his best gnoblars before the battle had even begun. Without a leader on the opposing side the Bone crusher’s small numbers counted for nothing they fought so viciously it was said even the great Maw would tremble in their wake. Any survivors were recruited and the smallest were given as a sacrifice to Maw. They had a considerable sized force now. Shortly after the battle the tribes best bellowers sounded their horns and down from the mountain peaks came a small band of yettees that Dorax had once saved from starvation. The tribe still small but growing stronger by the day was slowly but steadily regaining their old power. Greasus was growing even more agitated by the day afraid that Golgamath would attack him. He sent army after army to try and stop the Bone crushers but none succeeded. Golgamath was in a tricky situation. If he remained in the kingdoms he and his tribe were sure to perish he had no choice but to leave. However on their travels through the kingdoms it wasn’t just enemy tribes they had to contend with. Army’s of the empire were laying siege to the ogre Kingdoms. One night the tribe stumbled over a large ridge to find a scene of devastation in front of them. Vast numbers of empire soldiers in mid battle with a small cult of ogres bearing the Gold tooth war banner. Without hesitation clubs at the ready the Bone crushers charged. They smashed their way through the empire trampling beating and eating anything that stood in their way the end of the battle was near when the empires commander drew his sword and plunged it deep into the Gold tooth bruiser’s eye. With a roar of pain that could have been heard from miles around the Bruiser stamped around trampling several Gnoblars. But as the commander drew to strike again Golgamath grasped his head in one hand smacked him in the stomach with such force it cracked the commander’s breast plate in two and crushed his head so that his skull was reduced to powder. Victory was immanent with just a few Empire regiments left the Gold tooth cult stayed back while the Bone Crushers (forgetting clubs and blades) tore into the Empire with their bear hands. Crushing their bones to dust. When Greasus heard of the rescue he was surprised that a traitor such as Golgamath had helped save his best commanding tribe from slavery and death. Great cave paintings were made depicting Golgamath and his tribe crushing bones to dust. Greasus forgot his power hungry paranoia and declared that these brave ogres were to be known through out the land as the mighty Bone crusher exiles. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think |
