Cheers for all of the comments. For those who didn't see it in the Castles of Steel thread this is how the Nurgle Fleet is currently looking: ![]() Check the Castles of Steel thread for more pictures of the fleet (or the blog in sig below for all of them). The fleet is now on hold till I get some Marine ships at GD to add a renegade Marine element. In other news I am currently back at work on my Realm of Battle gameboard. Finally started converting a couple of the spare panels I have into a river section... ![]() After the bulk of the cutting was done. The last inch or so has been left for now for strength as I handle and continue to hack up the panels. Using offcuts I am replacing the river banks with 'rocks' so that the river banks match the rock pools. ![]() ![]() ![]() The black areas are to be removed still. Very, very early WIP. Much more sculpting, cutting, filling, carving etc still to do. And how the bridges will look in position

Nifty idea using the cracked areas to make a river bank, I guess you'll be mounting the boards on something to form the river itself? Also, where's your bridge from? Looking forward to seeing this develop. |

Cheers for the comments. Rise: The bridges are 'Technobridges', alas where I bought them from some years ago no longer sells them. If you do a search for 'Technobridge' you might be able to find them somewhere else. I will be putting 1mm styrene into the cut out areas to form the river 'bed'. Alas this will be my last post in here. After seeing the changes which are going to be made to the Project Log area I now have no real motivation to keep on going with it. Cheers for everyone who over the years have posted in Recalcitrant Daze, it has always been appreciated. If you want to keep up with what I am doing pop into the blog every now and then at Recalcitrant Daze and feel free to drop me a PM or an email through AB if you want to say hello. Untill a future life, ![]() Mods, feel free to close it, move it, whatever. |
