Right, absolutely shattered but need to tell the people how it went! Saturday: I picked up Hive and Rictus picked up Dominius from airports, and drove to WHW. Hive got into a game with Sam (10) Death Guard vs Hives Storm Dragons    Needless to say Hive got his but kicked, having zero forces left, after killing 6 death guard (ooooo, you all say  ) The final fight to the end. |

While he was doing this the rest of us were sorting out our GD entry models: Rictus mudding his Landraider   Dominus finishing off his DKK  Josh painting his models other than 'black'    My beast finally finished! |

After lunch we decided a 4500pt vs 4500pt battle, Marines vs IG    Notice Rictus's amazing white camo scheme! Its a shame we ran out of time to complete the match Sal had dinner on! |

We met up with DigitsDave at my house and checked the models: And due to his CC (  ), Dominus spent another two hours painting.No photos of us getting pissed...... In the morning Will took tuition of DD and improved his young blood entry with this:  Before leaving in convoy to the NEC |

We queue'd up and booked in the tanks together, and got them into the cabinet next to each other: Competition looked good, and we recognised the serious contenders:        And in the middle, Dominius's DKK

The final cut came and most of the favourites we had recognised had got picked, only 2 we disagreed with. Think the only issue of the day was Dominus's squad was far better than half the finalists in that catergory, but with one of the top 3 being another DKK squad, you got the feeling they were (wrongly) balancing out the feel.   This coming in third behind the Chaos Baneblade on dead, tho alot of us thought this deserved a better position. After this we all dispersed, and hopefully to meet again! |

Yeah, it was great fun meeting up with the others.Apologies for my constant disappearances however, come the afternoon the combination of no sleep (had to be up at an ungodly hour for the coach) + hot NEC had got to me a little and I was feeling a little sickly. Nice to have met all of you though and I'm already making plans for next year

there is, i was wearing a HKP shirt, Rictus is the guy i'm manhandling in that first pic...and the second pic...oh..and the third pic. there was much man-handling of Rictus. a joke perhaps only he will truly understand SC |

Haha nice stuff guys! AHAHAHA @ Rictus' shirt with his avatar on it! Nice work. Good to see you had fun! We're hoping to go to Games Day here next year, so I'll definitely take pics, as well as pics of me going crazy with a shopping trolley and 3 grand at GW Rundle Mall in Nov! |
