Well Gollum/Smeagol isn't an option.

Reckon it'll just have to be Bilbo then.

Gandalf for me, he's the wise man who's always on top of things, funny in his grumpiness, and who wacks Orcs over the head with a big stick. What's not to like?

Oh and he paints Krieg really well. :D

For me it's Huan, a wise and determined wolf from the silmarillion who helped Beren & Luthien

I like all of them, but Glorfindel is the best. He once killed a balrog all by himself.

SC, this proves to be a good thread, and I really like the way you've included characters from the Silmarrillion as well, which is uncommon, but I love them, as I have always liked Tolkien's works; all of 'em...

Anyway, enough mindless rambling.
Cheers,

i love the hobbit book as well, i think its the best of the books, its not about saving the world or anything that important, they are going treasure hunting!

I say Legolas, if only for that bit where he took down the Oilaphant thing single handed.

for me it's Boromir, come on he's pretty hardcore! 6 count em 6 might points? that and he's a very good tragic hero!
(why didn't he use his might to affect his fate roll in the first movie?)

Coz that version of him doesn't have Fate! :P

By that point in the story he has been seduced by the Ring and has lost his special PC aura of invulnerability. ;)

It was quite funny when he picked up the shards of Narsil and commented "still Sharpe". yes Sean Bean, you will always be Sharpe...
