 I see....

Currently 5.6 does absolutely nothing. Doesn't even close AIM... the developers have been contacted, and will let you know with updates.

The new ad placement is awesome though... non obtrusive at all!

 Hey, I don't mind staying beta 1, but is there a way to get rid of the "Aim Update" on top of the window?

I dl'ed the newest beta and I frankly don't believe it uses less memory/resources than beta 1. Seriously, you get these new life stream tabs and different window colors and whatever. It uses as much memory as my Google Chrome!
