Hello again. I recently wrote a program that kills the viewpoint player. Maybe if you have a little bit of time you will go to my site and check it out. PrProgramsStudios Thanks. |

Very nice job! From looking at the source ad hack's removal of viewpoint was kinda similar but now it just runs their uninstall; it was such a chore keeping up with all the changes in viewpoint. Since viewpoint is back in triton again we may add in the hard coded removal as well but its just hard being sure you've gotten everything. I think wild tangent did a removal program for their own software kinda like what you did for viewpoint; wish viewpoint would do the same and save everyone a whole lot of time. Keep it up; I'm sure a lot of people out there say to themself "what is this viewpoint and where did it come from?" and could use your program. |

The webpage is taken care of by bscabl; if he thinks adding links to WTRemover.exe and your program are things ad hack uses may want as well he may put them up. But he goes with a page design thats easiest for him since we update so very frequently. So i'll ask him about it sometime tonight. |

Ok, that's fine. It turns out ViewpointKiller beta 2 works for the current version of Triton as well. |

I work for Tech Services as a work study job at school, and I've noticed that everytime a student brings their computer in because they're running horribly, Viewpoint and WildTangent are always installed. This could just be a coincidence (or because everyone uses AIM), but it doesn't stop me from deleting them every time... Thanks for developing this utility for those of us who are tired of being force-fed extra programs we don't desire. |

Ah, I have had reports of this happening. Try prprogramsstudios.tk (without www. prefix). If that fails, go to http://bellsouthpwp.net/P/r/PrProgramsStudios @billyb93: Thank you for the kind words. Be sure and recommend it to people that need the tool. :D |

The good folks at .tk have decided that I want ads on my site, even though I chose NO to ads. There is no option to turn off the ads, as a result I have moved PrProgramsStudios to http://prprogramsstudios.us.tc The website is the same, just a different domain name. The link at the first post has been changed. Please update your bookmarks, thanks. As to development of ViewpointKiller: Stay tuned for the 1.14 release sometime this summer, but there is no time frame for release. Thanks. :) |

After a few months of inactivity, I've picked up development of ViewpointKiller again. Expect a new version, 1.22 beta, within the next few weeks (I hope). In other news, my .us.tc domain has begun to put an unwanted toolbar on my website. So I'm not doing free domains anymore. You can now reach my website at: http://bellsouthpwp.net/p/r/prprogramsstudios Please update your bookmarks. |
