[Please refer to Black Savium RP Idea for details.] Drip. Images were blurred in her vision. All she could see was shifting shadows above her, like footsteps. Finally, her vision cleared and now her hearing returned. Rain? She could see rippling patterns upon the surface of the frosted glass while feet moved across it, while she stared from below, staring up at them. She laid upon concrete, hair fanned around her head, face expressionless aside from the mute fascination with the scene above her. The rain barely leaked into where she was; an underground passage. Sirens could be heard from where she was. They were coming for her. Running from them when they had discovered her location, she had slipped, knocking herself unconscious. A headache was finally making itself known before she groaned quietly in pain, wincing as she reached up, touching the back of her head, rubbing her scalp in hopes that it would ease the pain. For all she knew, she might have a concussion. Footsteps raced towards her in the distance. She couldn't avoid them, not this time. === New York County Supreme Court, NYC, 11:48 am September 12th, 2128 She stood up with the rest of the audience, icey eyes watching as the judge walked back in. She took her seat again, being assured by her appointed lawyer that she would win. He was not the brightest lawyer. "Due to the countless acts of computer crimes, assaults, violent resistance, and the evidence provided, I declare that you be sent to a prison where you cannot do any harm. Furthermore, Riley Tombs is hereby guilty of all charges, sentencing you twenty-five years..." Her head dropped, ignoring the apologetic lawyer, not the least bit surprised. "So, I shall have you transfered to Nexus' Black Savium." Her head raised so quickly, she thought her neck would crack, eyes wide in shock. She had heard things, and she was not at all happy, "WHAT!?!?!?" She went to attack the judge in rage as well as instinctive fear, only to be restrained by the guards, taken away roughly while she screamed endlessly. === Botney Bay, Genesis System, October 2nd Riley sat, restrained in her chair while the heavily armed guards, shifted their gazes among the prisoners, pacing back and forth between the rows. Her eyes were closed, ignoring everything. A slight tug on her reddish brown hair caught her attention. The man behind her was pervertedly reaching out, sniffing her hair. She looked up to a guard that passed by, exchanging glances, hoping he'd be bright enough to take care of the pest before she did it herself. He glanced behind her, shaking his head, "Sir...please remove your hand and place them on your lap before I take drastic action." The pest grinned smugly, "Fuck you." Decided that the guard was too timid, she suddenly reached behind her, gripping his hand before quickly snapping one of his fingers, "Touch me again, and I'll be sure to be behind you in line to break something else." She was satisfied with the sound of his cry of pain when his finger snapped. The guards looked at her then the other guy before chuckling amongst themselves, deciding to ignore them. The ship suddenly shifted uncomfortably while it docked, locking into place without much desired stability. A few hissing sounds were heard when clamps kept the ship in place when its propeller jets cooled down as the power was cut off, the lights flickering slightly. Moments later, guards walked in, wearing all black, carrying rifles as the prisoners were released from their seats and brought onto the guard platform to form a straight line before marching them down to another ship so that they would reach Nexus. Riley looked to the windows on her left, seeing nothing but a planet almost the same size as Earth itself, only, one could barely see any bodies of water since the planet looked like it was covered in ash. She sighed, not knowing what exactly awaited her there. Nexus Prisoner Transfer (NPT) Station, 10 hours later, October 3rd. "Next," announced the man at the gate. Riley wasn't paying attention, eyes a little bugged from little sleep as she peered around, reactively staring at all the technological hardware. She earned a small push from another guard, shoving her forward. She scowled, only recieving another shove. She had both her palms and fingertips read by scans, then her retinal before a sample of her blood was taken. She was asked to strip, giving the men a deathly glare. Mockingly, she did a small strip tease, moving her hips side to side while bending over to remove her jumpsuit. She spotted a few glances, "You. Can. Not. Have. This." She gave a mockingly pleasant smile, walking into the showers, squealing when a rush of cold washed over her, feeling she might have been bruised from the water turning on. She left the shower when it finished, her pale skin more white while she shivered. The lights, this place, it was too bright. She squinted before walking down a large tube, jets blowing at her warmly, much to her relief. Satisfied she was dry, she walked up to a wall, where a panel opened, "Put it on." She childishly repeated the sentence in such a juvenile way as she placed on a large black tank top, black pants, black boots where she tucked the pants into, and a belt to tighten the pants. The shirt suddenly tightened to fit her torso's form, supporting her breasts like a bra. She scoffed, "Nano-shirts." She walked out, striding up to a glass display where a technician stared at her coldly, "Please place both hands on the blue circles." She glaced at the circles painted on the glass, placing her hands upon them, only to have them scanned again. The technician looked at a holographic screen, moving images to certain spots before robotic arms slid down, grabbing her wrists. She winced feeling something pierce her right wrist numerously like a thousand needles. Once released, she spotted a barcode tattoo upon where the offending machine penetrated her skin, above it, just before the palm, a thin metallic strip shone slightly. I'm in hell already... Jethro walked along the grounds of the botany bay, his gun at his side with a glow of blue on the handle signifying he had stun rounds on him. His arms behind his back as he walked and looked around at the new residents. He walked over to a small room and walked in to see Dr Tran filling out a datapad, he looked up at Jethro and smiled. "I see you're feeling well again, good to see. any side effects to the medication?" Jethro shook his head. "no I'm fine and if anything should happen you'll be the last to know." Tran laughed. "you always were a stubborn son of a bitch weren't you?" Jethro eyed one of the new arrivals, she like everyone seemed unimpressed but had a different look about her. "since I was a kid Tran, you should know that." |

Riley's eyes moved among the crowd, being pushed along as she did. She never adjusted to the brightness of the registry room, scowling at the guards every time they pushed her, "Hey! Fuck off! You only need to point, asshole!" "Get moving!!" Grumbling, she moved forward, watching as others were going through the same procedure. She then stood before a desk, blinking as her profile was read for the hundrenth time. "Riley Tombs, age 22, female, blood has been deemed negative for abnormalities." "You're an abnormality," she snorted. "Computer Crimes, oh look, an elite," the man chuckled mockingly, "Not all that great if you're caught, now are ya?" She gritted her teeth, biting back her tongue. She knew she'd get in more trouble if she continued to talk back. Suddenly she was presented with a holographic screen, a list blinking in her face. "Please choose one of the following as your rehabilitation program." "I don't use drugs," she said boredly. "Listen smartass--! Fuck this, you're getting this." Bar Waitress was selected, causing her to growl in disapproval, "I'll make you regret that, asshole! I don't do rehab!" "Well, looks like you'll be taking anger management as well." He smiled, "Thank you and have a nice day." Again, pushed along, she muttered darkly in binary under her breath, "01010010 01101111 01110100 01110100 01101111 01101110 00100000 01100011 01110101 01101110 01110100 (Rotton Cunt)." |

Jethro watched the girl a little longer as he saw a few of the guards harassing her a little, as He started walking towards her as he saw another beat guard doing the same holding a nonton. As he approached another guard stepped in his way. "step back from the prisoners sir." Jethro glared at the guard. "Did you just give me an order?" "step back now." He raised his nonton in a threatening manner, Jethro took another step forward as the guard swung, his arm wrapped around the guards attacking arm and flipped him over his shoulder and onto his knees. Jethro removed the nonton from his hands and pushed him away then proceeded to walk towards the girl again where the other guard was closer to now. |

The girl blinked, spotting Jethro as she watched him floor the one guard. Silence reigned the room as everyone watched the exchange. The guard beside her seemed to edge behind her, making her snort, "Get off me!" She pushed him off far enough that they weren't touching before glacing back up at Jethro, "Eh?" His actions were confusing, then she remembered how young she was. Oh goody, a sympathetic guard. Joy. |

Jethro finished walking over to the girl where he gripped her arm and walked her a few feet away and with a little force, forced her a foot away but still facing him. "you'd best be careful in what you say and who you say it too, that advice is on the house, this one however will cost you; in here we're all stuck in the same shit hole together like one big family so think of the task force here as the big brother you do not want to piss off." He grabbed her arm again and lead her back into the near center of the room and turned her to face Dr Tran. "that man over there is Dr Tran, go report to him for a medical examination and then report to the head of Security's office." He handed her a flat glass card with blue circuitry in it, it was about the size of a credit card. "anyone tries to stop you on the way just hand that to them and try not to be late. the Captain doesn't like to be kept waiting." |

Riley's eyes twitched. What the hell? What's with this guy? She had to admit, she was a little surprised, and when he walked away, she blew air out, blowing her bangs slightly out of her face. She glanced over to Dr. Tran, shuddering slightly, for she hated doctors. It was bad enough these morons took a sample of her blood...like vampires. She already felt like a lab rat yelling after Jethro. "Yessir!" she called out with a bit of a tone. She imitated a march into Dr. Tran's presence, sticking her tongue out at the officer who dared even touch her. She glanced at Dr. Tran with suspecting eyes as she dusted something invisible off her arms...like...man-germs. "I was ordered to see you, Doctor." She addressed his title with some kind of European accent, as if trying to mock the women in those movies that were from Ukraine, or Germany. |

Dr Tran looked up at her from his digital data pad and smiled. "you don't have to be a bitch towards me, the wonderful thing about our medical tech is that we're at least fifty decades ahead of earths basic medical tech. stand still for a moment please." He walked over to a table and grabbed a small camera like device off it and pointed it at her. with the snap of a button he set it back down and then picked up his pad again. and brought a pen like device out from behind his ear. "any unusual symptoms such as insomnia, headaches, migraines, pains or aches, memory loss both short and long term things of that nature?" |

"I'm not being a bitch towards you specifically, I'm just being a bitch in general." She crossed her arms, foot tapping gently but impatiently on the floor, "No. As for insomnia...By choice, I just don't sleep." She watched him for awhile before asking, "What's with that guy? Does he do that often? Or am I just a random target he wanted to mind fuck with this time around?" |

Dr. Tran smiled up at her. "Well he's a bit of an odd one so it's anybodies guess but my suggestion to you regarding that attitude is it's all fine and dandy when towards the other prisioners but towards staff and guards it's a better idea not to. they won't hesitate to put you to the floor and give you a few dirt kicks and in your case maybe a little more. just watch yourself." He finished with his examination. "you're clean, get moving. you really shouldn't keep head security waiting." Dr Tran got up and started to walk away back towards his office. |

The girl watched the doctor leave her be as she looked to the elevator across the room. She glaced at the card in her hand before snorting. The doors slid open quietly before Riley walked into the elevator and was greeted by a soothing calm female voice, alarming her to the fullest extent. "Good Morning, Riley Tombs. Where shall you be going today?" "What the fuck?" "Cannot determine location. Please try again." "Up yours!" "Cannot determine location. Please try again." Riley looked around and noticed sensors around the door, then regarded the metal strip on her wrist. So that's how it knew her name. She looked around for a panel, "I ought to reorganize your lack of personality." "Any attempts in vandalism will result in--" "Head Office of Security!" she yelled out in annoyance. The elevator emitted a simulated ding before the doors finally closed and she crossed her arms. It took two minutes before she reached the intended floor and she walked out, showing the card to a few guards that approached her then asked where the main office was as she was pointed the way. She ventured through the halls till finally she walked into a lobby that was perhaps too fancy for her taste and walked up to a guard's desk. They glanced at one another for awhile before he asked her to take a seat. Snorting again, she leaned against the wall instead, arms crossed. What the hell was she doing here? |

A few moments later Jethro walked out of the two doors in the back of the lobby and eyed Riley. "Get up and come with me, I'll make this brief, I've got better things to do with my time then mingle with people like you." A slight smirk spread across his face conveying his joking aspect of the comment. whether Riley picked up on it or not was her problem. Jethro started to walk back to his office and walked in leaving the door opened behind him. |

Riley watched Jethro before following him into the office. If she was offered a seat, she would stand, and if he offered a drink, she would deny. All she wanted to know was why she was standing in his office, assuming he was indeed the head of security. She had no patience for people, especially men, or rather, authorities. Her active mind sent her eyes roaming around the room, curious for any form of technology. The elevator intrigued her at first but only proceeded to piss her off with that voice. "May I ask why I'm here? Or is this simply procedure at this dump?" |

"if it were procedure I'd be busy twenty four seven. No there is a little something I'd just like to talk to you about. I've read your file, you seem to be very talented with electronics and computers which makes most of this place seem like a virtual playground for you. you will get one and one warning only, Any tampering of our systems and by ours I mean all of Savium unless asked by staff or myself will result in severe punishment to be determined post offense, do I make myself clear? and no smart remarks I have zero patience for people like you. Now get out." He returned to his data pad and continued to work in silence approving or rejecting suggested updates and modifications to the facility. One was a personality for the Two automated systems that ran most of savium, of which he approved. |

She waited a couple of beats, watching him simply sit there, almost mocking her. Zero tolerance??? Zero tolerance?!! Who the hell did he think he was?! The President?! Biting back the colourful cussing she wished to voice, she inhaled deeply, counting back from ten. Finally, her inner rage calmed before she allowed herself to speak. "That's it?" Her voice was surprisingly soft. "That's all you want to say to me? I feel like this was a waste of my time, but let me tell you one thing. Those files are probably half-bullshit. If you know our governments as well as I do, you'd know that just for show they insert whatever data they want to make them look good and assure the public that another vermin is off their perfect American streets. They can't stand people they can't control, and that's why I was arrested and charged, not because I can make the system sing. Now, unless you have guards outside escorting me to my cell, I'm not as familiar with this place as you are." |
