Posted Image Captains log star date 8252.6. After our short Trip to Starbase eleven We turned in the evidence Regarding the Avenger incident which lead to the discharge of Admiral Rodney We've been ordered to the nearest space dock just outside the Rigal II system. We are only minutes away from complete dock. Apparently Admiral Forrest has requested the Aeon be docked until further notice for reasons of which at this time is being withheld. I can't help but feel that Rodney has something to do with this but there's nothing to suggest he is, yet anyway. We had a shuttle dock moments ago before we entered the space dock, crew manifest says there are two Security officers and a Commander Tarik. Something tells me he's not being transferred onto my ship. He's on his way to the bridge now. I guess I'll know soon enough. Jade closed the captains log book and looked at the view screen, they were almost completely docked as the three shuttle officers walked onto the bridge. Commander Tarik and the two officers walked over to the side of the bridge and stood at ease waiting. The comms officer looked back from her chair to the captain. "Sir incoming transmission from Admiral Forrest, priority one." Jade nodded his acknowledgment and stood up as the screen filled with the Admirals room and the Admiral himself. "Admiral Forrest, to what do I owe the pleasure of this conversation?" The Admiral shook his head. "I'm sorry Captain. Under section 4 sub section 32 of the StarFleet regulations and protocol, I'm hereby placing you Captain Michael Raymius Jade under arrest for the Conspiracy to commit murder and Murder of Officer Leuitenent Senior grade Charles Ronson Delcam. You are to be escorted off the ship and into the custody of Commander Tarik where you will be escorted off the ship and to the holding center of the Space dock pending a court martial. I'm sorry Michael, I wish I could help you. I hope the use of restraints won't be needed." Jade nodded and smiled politely. "Not at all, I have nothing to hide." The ships bridge crew was sitting there in shock over what was happening. "I wish that were true Michael. I'll see you when you arrive on deck. Admiral Forrest out." The screen flashed the federation insignia then back to the outer ship view. Jade looked back at Duina then to the officers waiting and walked over to them. "We shouldn't keep the Admiral waiting now Commander." |

When Michael got the message about that, she at first wasn't going to pay much attention to it. Thinking it wasn't going to be involving her, but she hadn't been expecting that. While she was there, she had her legs up on her seat to her side as she was braiding her hair. She really didn't much else to do. Course, she had seen the doctor a few more times on his request. She was pretty well now that she could start to screen. Course, her attention was suddenly upon the screen the minute that Michael was going to be arrested. She looked over at him, eyes filled with complete confusion. She brought her legs down before standing up. "Michael...What's going on?" She looked so confused, her hands at her chest. She simply wanted to run over to him and hug him, but at this moment she didn't think it was going to be a good idea. Hands soon dropped infront of her as she just watched him. Waiting for something to happen or someone to say something else. She didn't think that Michael would do such a thing, but then again, she had only been aboard the Aeon for a short while thus only knowing him for a short while. But she had felt him, his emotions. He was good to the core, at least, that is what she thought. |

"A bit of my past it seems. Well Commander Tarik." Commander Tarik stared at him for a moment then to Duina giving her a bit of a dirty look, Jade hadn't caught it. "Captain Michael Jade of the USS Aeon, by order of StarFleet Command you are being relieved of your command and Rank and am hereby in my custody in accordance with..." Jade cut him short quickly. "I'm well aware of the little rules we have here, I've had more time here then you Commander. lets get going then." He took a step past Tarik but was quickly blocked by the two security officers. Tarik still facing forward. "in accordance with StarFleet protocol until such time as we are aboard the Space Dock and you are confined to the docks brig pending your court martial. Do you Michael Raymius Jade wish to Make a request of anyone before you are confined or do you wish to withhold that request until a further time?" Jade raised his head slightly and composed himself. "I will wait until such time is needed." "Then you will accompany Myself and these two officers to Deck." Tarik started to walk towards the turbo lift Jade behind with the two officers beside him, the doors hissed open and the four of them stepped in and it closed. |

Duina had glanced over when she got the dirty look from the Commander. She just blinked before looking back at Michael. She wanted to speak up but before she could, they were leaving down the turbo lift. She sat down before looking to the side. What was she going to do? Loose hair was tucked behind her ear as she sighed. She looked around at the bewildered faces. She then stood up before walking to the turbo lift before looking at everyone and jsut gave a smile of reassurance before disappearing into the lift. For now, she would just stop at her level and walked to her room, hands playing with fingers as she was trying to simply find out what she was going to do about this, if she even could. |

Jade was escorted to the docked shuttle and back to Space Dock still escorted by Commander Tarik. He was lead to the holding area where he was then placed in a small room with a table and a few chairs. He sat down in the corner of the room and sighed, he knew that Delcam was dead and yes it was his fault but it was not murder nor was it planned. He was going to have to prepare his case extensively if he was going to walk away from this. A voice echoed over the detention area. "Attention... Visiting hours will commence at 1500 hours" Jade looked at the digital clock in the room it read 1430 hours. half an hour and then visitors were welcome to see those who were detained. He sat there and contemplated. He couldn't do much else at the current time. |

The door opened to ther room as she walked in. As it closed, she undid her hair before walking to the window. She crossed her arms over her chest as she sighed. She then looked about her room before she thought it would be a good idea for her to relax a little bit. So, a simple bath/shower was in order. It took her about 25 minutes before she stepped out finally, drying her hair. She was still confused as to why Michael had been taken away, but also as to why the Commander had looked at her in such a way. She was no different then anyone else, other then she refused to call Michael Captain. Sitting on her bed, she laied back, tying up her robe as she sighed. She stared at her ceiling. She then sat up before gettng dressed. Hair then was tied back, even thought it was wet. She walked out of the room before heading off. She would make her way to the brig, which took her longer simply because she didn't know where she was going and she had to ask where it was. Course, by the time she got there it was way past 1500 hours, so she wasn't to sure what was going to happen. She looked around before clearing her throat to the men that were around. "I am looking for a Michael Jade?" She stood tall, showing that she wasn't to be taken likely and that she knew her place. |

The officer looked at her. "Very well. follow me please" He started to walk down the hallway of doors. "Ma'am this is a holding area you are aware of the risks involved?" He didn't wait for an answer instead he stopped at a door and entered a combination on the panel next to it. "When your ready to leave just use the com system alright." The door slid open and he stepped aside. Jade looked up from his corner on the floor to the open door half expecting the guard to come in. |

Duina just nodded before walking into the cell. She glanced over at him and smiled some. Hands in front of her before she just rose them. "Thought I would come see what sort of place you were being held in. Must say, I like my quarters much better..." She just smiled again before it vanished. She looked at him before looking down some. "Michael, what is going on? There must be a valid reason for all of this..." SHe looked up at him, concern filled her eyes. She had no clue what was going on, but she planned to get to the bottom of this. That was for sure. |

Jade stood up and walked over to the table then sat down on one of the chairs. “I swear I didn’t murder anyone. Delcam was serving aboard the same ship, as I was a few years back. On a simple mission to retrieve a science team from an M class planet. While we were on route we became under attack by two Klingon bird of prays. They came out of nowhere, the captain ordered a red alert, the battle got ugly real fast. Weapons, and shields and main power were all offline in a matter of minutes. We were dead in space but they never made the finishing blow, instead they requested the ships surrender. They lowered their shields to beam aboard and start taking prisoners.” He paused for a moment to contemplate the whole mission. It had happened years ago before he was even a Captain. He was a Lieutenant serving aboard a Miranda class star ship. In the command area, it was shortly before he was promoted to captain. “In a last ditch effort me and Delcam were ordered to manually fire a torpedo, if we were going to go out it was going to be fighting. We rigged a torpedo to explode on a ten second timer, we were going to beam it aboard their ship. I don’t even know myself but somehow he was caught in the transport and beamed to the other ship. It was unexplainable so at the time star fleet passed it off as a freak accident. Who the hell was I kidding, it was well known that Delcam and myself weren’t exactly friends. We had our scraps here and there but it was never serious. Not like what they’re suggesting now.” He sat back and looked at her waiting for a response. He himself had been wondering what Admiral Forrest meant about his last comment. |

Duina just sat down as she listened to him. She thought it best to to say much while he was speaking. She took in the information she was being given and when he had stopped, she took a minute to actually gather her thoughts. "I believe you, Michael. I do..." She looked at her hands before looking around. She then looked at him. "But someone doesn't, that or they are trying to put a good man away..." She pushed back a curl that had fallen from her hair style as it was drying. "Michael...I have no idea what to do. People are worried... As am I." She played with her nails some as she watched him. It felt so odd looking upon him in this matter. She always saw him as someone who was always going to be higher on the chain, but to see him being brought so low, pained her. "What are you going to do, Michael?" For now, she would leave out the fact that she believe that the Commander Tarik hated her for some reason that had escaped her. |

Truth be told he didn't know what he was going to do, he'd been thinking about it but the only thing that would prove his innocence was back on the ship which he couldn't go. "I don't know what I'm going to be, best I can do right now is tell the truth but it might not hold to much leeway. There's one thing that could do it but I can't get it." He looked at Duina for a moment and a small smile crossed his face. "I know you and the rest of the ships family are worried and I know they all stand behind me and I intend to fight this to the fullest." His small smile stayed till the end of his sentence. He wasn't so sure he could get away with this, despite the fact that he hadn't done anything wrong. |

Duina nodded. "Yes, we will not leave you to fight this alone." She just smiled some before tilting her head. "What is this thing? Maybe I can get it for you..." She pulled on her hair some before dropping her hands back to her lap. She wanted to show him that she could easily be trusted as anyone else. After all, she had come to see him. "I want to do something. For this one, I can't just sit around and watch them do this to you. It isn't right nor is it fair." She looked very serious about this and even if he told her not to do anything, she was defiant and she had proved that already. |

"Your right. You can but it's going to be Difficult, in my personal quarters there's a picture of a 20th century art work. It should be easy to spot the problem it's behind the picture in a voice activated compartment. you can't open it yourself so we'll have to find a way to get me on the ship to get it. Which is why I want you to defend me." He let his request sink in before continuing. "I don't know who to trust other then you. I can give you all the information I can, and the names of the people who were there on that ship. That and I need to See Mr Cal my first officer, can you return to the ship and have him come here? I want him present at the trial as well." |

Duina blinked some. He wanted her to represent him. She then just nodded. "Alright, If that means helping you and getting to the truth, then I will." She just smiled softly. After he spoke again, she nodded. "Alright. I will ensure that he comes." She wasn't sure how she was going to do this, but she wasn't going to let him down. "I do not think that the commander will much like it that I am going to be defending you, but I will do my best." |

"Commander Tarik doesn't like me because the Aeon was commissioned to me and not him. He was one of the competing officers for my ship." He stood up and started pacing back and forth, back straight hands grasped in each other behind his back and eyes straight. "Alright then. Mr Cal can inform you of the cases situation and all the information you'll need to know to defend me. He can help you prepare the case, get the evidence and the witnesses. He'll be your backup. The visiting hours are almost over so you two won't be able to see me till tomorrow, talk things over in the meantime, he's trust able." He stopped and looked right at her, fully composed and full of confidence. "We'll beat this." |
