The bridge doors slid open and Captain Jade stepped out onto the deck. An officer stood up at attention.
“At ease. Report.” He took his seat in the captain’s chair and sat back.
“Right inform Starfleet of our situation, helmsman plot a course for that ship.
The ship turned and headed towards the ship in distress, the computers voice could be heard giving up to date information. Captain Jade sat back and leaned into his chair. He knew it was a risky choice entering the Klingon Neutral Zone but he had no choice, a ship was in distress and he had to act. Posted Image The computers voice echoed over the bridge, “Now entering the Klingon neutral Zone.
“Stand by in Transporter rooms to transoport survivors.”
The computer went off again. “Alert sensors indicate three Klingon cruisers barring 3.6 mark 4 closing fast” Posted Image “visual” Jade commanded as the screen went to the standard view to show the three klingon battle cruisers approaching the ship. “Battle stations, activate shields” The shields were up in mere moments as the ships lights turned from soft white to battle red. “Inform the Klingons we’re on a rescue mission”
The computer announced the arrival of the Klingon ships. “Helmsman get us out of here” The ships voice went off again: “Warning Klingon torpedoes activated, Warning Torpedo Fired” Posted Image “Evasive action Now!” Jade commanded just as the ship was hit causing damage to the ship. The helmsman’s console blew up sending him to the floor dead. “Engineering damage report.”

In one of the living quarters upon this lovely ship, a female would have been sleeping. Not knowing of any of the previous events that had happened a year ago in the means of training the trainees. This woman was new, having only been aboared the USS Aeon(?), she didn't know much about the going ones upon this ship. A simple new patron that might have been of use in furture encounters. Arms were soon stretched above her head as she yawned. Delicate hands soon came to her eyes to wipe the sleep from them. Pulling herself up, legs would have been swung around the edge of the bed. With another yawn, she would simply speak. "Computer, Jinko Berry Tea, Hot." Her voice was small, but seemed to have this lightness to it. A few noises were sounded as a cup suddenly appeared close to her. Getting to her feet, night dress fell down around her ankles as she walked over. Small fingers laced around the handle as her other hand rested on the edge of the cup. Her feet soon moved as she walked towards the large window that would reveal the wide vace space. Eyes soon opened to reveal a light blue tint with flecks of hazel in them. An odd colour perhaps, but she loved them regardless. After some time, she would have eaten and gotten dressed. Her attire was that of a simple dress that came down around her ankles. Small, light weight shoes were wrapped around her feet. Long raven coloured hair was simple tied back so that it was out of her face, nothing fancy of course. Opening the door to her room, she would look down each way that was the hallway before stepping out. Foots steps were light as she walked almost as if she was on water. That was just how light weight her foot steps were. 'Time to get to know this ship a little better...' She thought to herself as she weaved her way between other patrons that happened to be in the same corridor as she was. She had passed many things, but was still so knew to the ship and how it worked. As for what was going on the bridge, this female wouldn't have the slightest clue. |

The Bridge had been busy with small idle chat among some of the crew members giving their reports to one another. The place practically ran itself thought Captain Jade. "Crewman estimated time till arrival?"
Captain Jade smiled and stood up. He nodded to the commander and walked over to the turbo lift and the doors swooshed open with a soft hiss. He stepped inside and gave the order to take him to the lower decks. A few moments later he was on a lower deck heading to the mess hall for some breakfast when he spotted a young woman in a dress. He caught up to her in no particular rush, He walked up beside her on the right side and kept pace with her being careful to hide his rank insignia. "excuse me but would you care to join me in the mess hall for some breakfast? I'm not to sure where it is." He smiled at her and awaited her response. |

Female blinked some as this male approched her. Hand came up to grasp her necklace as she fiddled with it. Raven hair fell over her shoulder as her eyes glanced up and down him before her eyes landed on his face. "Sure, I would love too." She just looked around before giving a small nervous laugh. "But I do not know where it is myself. I have only been on this ship for a little while now." She just dropped her hand to rest with the other one as she watched him. Reading his emotions rather easily. A betazoid, but perhaps, not entirely one. More shall be explained if talking was to ensue between them. |

He smiled still as he secretly removed his rank insignia and pocketed it. He kept pace with her speed. "If I remember correctly it should be just around... Aha here we are." they rounded a corner and into a door, it opened to reveal a dimly light room. The tables were almost empty since most of the crew were either on duty or still asleep in their quarters. He motioned to an open table right at the window looking out into space, a blue nebula storm could be seen out in the distance. Pulling a chair out for her to sit down he smiled again as he then sat down himself. "So if I may ask what is your name?" |

She smiled as she smoothed out her dress as she seated herself. A hand came up to brush her hair from her face and tuck it behind her ear. Earing jingled some as the many of them hit one another. "My name..." She just looked out over the blue nebula before looking back at him. "I go by the name Duina Hinlild." She watched him for a moment longer before a soft smile crossed over her lips. "And, may I ask your name, Kind sir." She didn't know the captain or anyone else on the ship for that matter, so even if he gave his actual name, shouldn't know until he came out and said he was the captain or until someone revealed it for him. |

"My name is is Michael Jade. just an officer on this ship like everyone else." He was being very careful as to not give his rank away, even after a year of being a captain of this ship most of the crew didn't know him from a black hole in space. A waiter came up and placed a small set of menus down in front of them, He started glancing over his menu and then put his down. He was in a very good mood this morning as he was most mornings. "so what caused you to be so lucky as to be placed on this ship of all ships? surely there's a reason?" |

Duina's delicate hands picked up the small menu as she looked over it a few times, before setting it down. Hands were placed on her lap as she just watched him. "Nice to meet you Micheal." She then fell silent for a few moments before she spoke up. "My vessel was found. I had flown into the middle of a shoot out between two worlds, so my vessel was pretty damaged. I was brought upon here and when I woke. I was in sick bay without so much as a memory of what happened before I was attacked." She just watched him to see his reaction to her little story. |

"Yes I Believe I remember hearing about that. I hope your stay here will be a comfortable one to say the least. We're on course to Beta III, once we're done there we'll be heading back to star base 11." He motioned to the Waiter before looking out the window. "it's beautiful isn't it? That nebula, it's amazing how much beauty there is in calm and stormy things alike." He smiled at her yet again, this day was as good a day as any to make new friends. In Jade's experience it was better to get to know your crew on a personal basis opposed to just being their captain as so many were. |

She just nodded. "Yes, I am enjoying it. I am getting to know the ship well." She just gave a small smile before looking out the window. With another nod, she would just continue to watch it as she spoke. "Indeed it is. I haven't seen something this beautiful since the sunsets on my home world." She wasn't used to traveling, but she was sure she was going to get used to it. "I hope there is no need for me to leave this ship anytime soon. I am quite enjoying myself aboard it." |

"You are of course welcome to stay aboard this ship as long as you like. As long as you don't mind a little danger and excitement once in awhile. I'm very sure the Captain wouldn't mind having you aboard." He leaned back into his seat and made direct eye contact with her still smiling. there was just something about this day that made it so he couldn't stop smiling, he was in an amazingly good mood and the view outside the ship could not have been more perfect. "So think we're ready for our breakfast?" |

Duina smiled as she was glad to here that she would be able to stay. "I am sure I can handle the things that are thrown at this ship." She was pretty certain about it acutally. Eyes looked back at the menu before she just nodded some. "I would say so. " She wasn't extrmemely hungry, but she would at least get herself something so that not to look rude towards him. He was, afterall, rather polite towards her. Hair was soon tucked back behind her ear as it was soon pulled over her shoulder. It may have been done up, but she still could move around the locks that was her hair very easily. |

"it's good to know you have a spirit of adventure behind you. It makes for some very interesting encounters, at least thats what life has taught me." The waiter stepped over to the table with a small pad in his hand. He looked at Jade first. "I'll have a cup of tea, rhubarb cinnamon. thank you." The waiter then proceeded to take her order as well. Jade sat back still and looked out the window at the space and he sort of zoned out for a few moments. |

Just nodded some. She knew that having an adventuerous side would prove well for her. She didn't mind a little interuption in her life. It only made somethings better and more interesting. She then looked at the waiter before smiling. "I'll have a Jinko Berry Tea, please." She then looked back at him with a smile. Still thinking he was just an officer, she would aske her question just to ge to know him better. "So, how did you come to be on this ship?" |

The question had caught him off guard but he knew the truth would be by far the best answer he could give. He leaned forward and smiled. "Truth be told I'm here because I failed a test. A little shocking to say the least but it's a great place to be thats for sure." He laughed for a second before continuing. "They call it the no win scenario or the Kobayashi Maru, I failed it to say the least, my ship and crew were all killed. of course it was just a simulation." Jade looked around the mess hall. He wouldn't have that happen again, especially not in a live scenario. After a few moments their drinks arrived and he smiled again before holding it up. "breakfast of champions it seems." |
