Dress Codes at the Dance Co.

Students: It is very important that you attend each class in proper attire for that class.

Parents: It is very important that you enforce the dress code with your child as well. If a child attends class and is not in the proper dress code, it will be at the discretion of the teacher whether the child can participate in class.

Jazz: Jazz shoes or dance paws, jazz pants and a form fitting top or leotard.

Tap: Tap shoes required (See instructor for style), jazz pants and form-fitting top or leotard Lace-up tap shoes cannot be worn by anyone under the age of 16 (check with instructor).

Hip-Hop: Sneaker preferred, wear cool and loose fitting clothing, and kneepads. A baseball or trucker hat is optional. No jeans or shorts. No sandals or bare feet.

Ballet: Pink ballet slippers, Black leotard and pink tights. Hair in bun.

Pre-combo and combo: Black tap shoes, Pink ballet slippers, black leotard and pink tights. (No skirts or leg warmers - No exceptions)

Lyrical: Jazz shoes or dance paws, jazz pants or dance shorts, and a form fitting top or leotard.

Theater Dance: Comfortable dance clothes, unless otherwise instructed by teacher.

Fitball/Pilates: Comfortable workout clothes.

No jewelry, watches or street clothes of any kind.
