I imagine that most of you, if you're my facebook friends, will already be aware of my 'blog. I'm trying to update it at least three or four times a week... sometimes I even manage a daily post.

It's a mixture of humour (of course), current events, music and whatever takes my fancy. It doesn't really have a focus which, to me, is the point - because life isn't a one-subject experience. Whatever is in my mind, goes in the 'blog.

The World, According To Andy Sweeney

Hope you enjoy...
...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I read a bit this morning and laughed a lot. Look forward to reading more when I have time.
Everybody's got something to hide 'cept for me and my monkey.

I've had over a month off from writing my 'blog, but am intending to update it again from time to time. If you could find time to read the scribblings of someone with a warped mind and too much time on their hands, I'd be grateful!

Cheers! :)

I'm wondering how to get my 'blog to a wider audience... beyond my friends list. Any ideas... and, indeed, should I?

This probably sounds really silly, but I have no idea how to use Twitter or how I could promote my 'blog on there...

Would it really get a lot of extra traffic?

Yes and no. It's kind of like a chat room, with more time to think. If people start re-posting your links it's one of the quickest ways to go viral - not that I ever have.
In my meagre experience, you have to latch onto like-minded people and sites, post comments there so people will recognise you. Just like you've done, and continue to do, with Strawberry Fields.
I know it's a lot harder to do when it's yourself you're plugging, rather than others.
Put a puppet on it.

It's something to consider - I have always imagined that it would be difficult to maintain both Twitter and Facebook accounts without replicating posts on both!
