Just saw on ABC News that Katherine, in filing for custody of the children, has also asked for, in her application to administer Michael's estate, to be given "assets for the exclusive use for the grandchildren." I wonder how that would be monitored?

Poor kids...their mother sold them, their "dad" died, their "family" is not a real family and they probably want the kids because of the money. Sad, so sad. |

I have no doubt that the grandmother and probably most of the siblings and extended family love them, but Joe, the grandfather, probably has other reasons for wanting custody.

According to the LA Coroner's office the story by the British tabloid is a fake ... they're saying that the autopsy report hasn't actually been filed because it's on a security hold until the toxicology report is completed. Here's a link to that story out of New Zealand: LA County Coroner's Office Say's "Shocking" Autopsy Report Fake |

I think he would only have been performing intermittenly as the star of an extravaganza. I think if they did go ahead he'd have come on for 20 mins gone off for a bit then come on twice more for anothr 2 20 mins segments. People would probably have been satisfied even though he wasn't doing full shows like Prince, for e.g. I'd love to have known what would have happend though. |

katherine loves her grandchildren. my concern is joe. if he had power over her when michael was little, what's to say he won't take the reigns again? unfortunately, she's 79 years old...let's hope she's healthy. a 79 year old might be able to make mature decisions on where they go to school, etc. but i can't imagine her going to PTA meetings, or getting on the floor playing with them. i hope they have plenty of exposure to schools and other children. there is a memorial going on in Harlem at the Apollo as we speak and thousands upon thousands are lined up to make their respects. |

Mustard, apparently the concerts were to be at least 90 min long with about a 20-30 min break. The Neverland Ranch will be a place that will hold a public viewing of MJ's body on Friday. His body will go by motorcade on Thursday morning making the nearly 103 mile drive. I hope they announce what time this is to take place, the freeway they will be on, the 101 - Ventura Frwy, I use everyday going to and from work. We will most likely be able to see helicopters (pretty sure the press will be following by chopper) from where I work as that freeway is only about a mile away. I have worked near a couple of celebrity funerals and you get this weird feeling when you see the black limos pulling up. You don't get this giddy feeling knowing that celebrities are driving past you. Instead you get this feeling of sadness no matter what you thought of the person being buried. I'm sure many of us will feel that way knowing that MJ's body and family are passing. |

What I am finding very offensive is that the concert promoters are offering people who have already bought their tickets are offering either a refund or a souvenir ticket. To me, it should be that the ticketbuyer gets their money back and be able to keep their ticket. They should be offered a chance to buy a commemorative program, not a ticket. |

The plot definitely thickens. Hearing on a radio interview the following, mind you it is tmz: http://www.tmz.com/
As for the memorial, there have been a flurry of rumors/news reports here that, starting with the first report: 1) A public memorial to be taking place at Neverland Ranch on Friday starting at 5 am. 2) public memorial to be held at at the ranch on Thursday, not Friday, 3) no public memorial at this time, 4) a public memorial at The Staples Center, being denied by management at this time, 5) a memorial at the LA Coliseum, no denials or confirmations, and 6) a burial at Forest Lawn Cemetary in Hollywood Hills (who supposedly has the body in one of their freezer containers also being denied). Per a local Santa Barbara tv station, KEYT, there is to be a memorial service: http://www.keyt.com/news/local/49622127.html
WOW!! A parking charge of $40.00 per car?!? I guess you could say that at this point, since we don't really know to many facts yet, Michael is living his post-life on earth the same way he lived his life on earth, enigmatically. |

Rumors are rampant. There's a media competition to see who can be the first to get the scoop, and I think lots of these stories are just getting tossed out there based on speculations. Then again, the family could purposely be trying to throw reporters off the trail. It's anyone's guess at this point. One story on the local news was saying that Michael's body would not be coming to Neverland (as earlier reported) for viewing or burial. As they were saying this, they were showing footage of bulldozers/land clearing equipment being moved into the grounds.

It definitely has been a feeding frenzy out here regarding MJ. I know the bulldozers have been at Neverland for a few days now. I've been trying to find a video of Janet at the BET awards and Jamie Foxx/Ne-Yo doing I'll Be There. Youtube had some but they've all been taken down. On one of the reviews this was posted in the description (get out your tissues) from the BET awards Sunday night: Janet Jackson at the BET awards

Here's a link to Michael Jackson's will. Also, on this site, there's an article about the drug (diprovan) that is now alleged to have been the drug that likely killed Michael, as well as an article about the engagement of one of the Jonas brothers. Our airwaves in LA are saturating the newscasts with all things Michael Jackson. Is this happening everywhere else? Jayne, I don't know if that rumor is true about the cemetary (Forest Lawn). It's less than 10 minutes from me. I haven't been curious enough to drive by and see if there is extra activity there. I was just past there yesterday and didn't even think to look.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I am really tired of all the coverage on MJ. There are so many rumors that are being reported by the talking heads on MSNBC, etc-the latest one i heard was his family wanted the expressway from LA to Neverland completely shut down to transport his body....WTH??? I admit I wasn't a fan, (although I liked some of his early songs, i.e. Thriller, etc) so this coverage is probably annoying me more than others. |

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe broke her silence Thursday and declared she wants custody of the two children she had with the late King of Pop. "I want my children," Rowe said during a 90-minute phone interview with NBC-LA early Thursday. Rowe, who married Jackson in 1996 and filed for divorce three years later, told the station she is willing to submit to DNA testing to prove maternity and psychological testing. Rowe had initially signed a contract with Jackson surrendering her parental rights, but an appeals court threw out that contract in 2006, ruling that Rowe remained the legal parent of son Michael Joseph Jr., 12, and daughter Paris Michael Katherine, 11. Rowe retained visitation rights while Jackson kept custody of the children. If she remained the legal parent she has a real good chance to get them |

All we have been hearing here is that she may have a slight case but as she did surrender her parental rights, her chances aren't the best. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 7th at Staples Center. Tickets will be issued by entering an online lottery at www.staplescenter.com. 17,500 tickets will be given out -- 11,000 seats will be for the ceremony inside the Staples Center, and the remaining 6500 will be for the adjacent Nokia Live center, where attendees will view the ceremony on jumbo screens. Registration is open until 6pm tomorrow (Saturday) and those winning entrants will be notified by email on Sunday. Tickets will be issued on Monday and these will be exchanged for wristbands. (Sort of like the process for Paul's show at Amoeba Records in 2007). http://www.staplescenter.com/ Edited by scottycatt, Jul 3 2009, 06:30 PM.

I had heard they were selling the tickets for $25. It looks like that first report (on local news) was wrong. I also heard that financially strapped LA and California is paying for all of the security! I really hope that is wrong! California is now issuing IOU's to creditors and asking state employees to take 3 unpaid days off per month and now being asked to deal with this?

Cathy, what makes you think that we'd be free from coverage in Hawaii? I'm afraid this is a worldwide phenomenon. I guess that's what the "off" switch is for. ABC-7 just broadcast a live press conference from Staples Center. The AEG Live people (owners of Staples Center and MJ's concert tour promoters) were adamant that no money will be charged for tickets to this ceremony, thus the ticket/wristband exchange. Jan Perry, councilwoman for the Staples Center district, explained that each year when the city puts its budget together, a certain amount of money is put into the budget to allow for special events that would necessitate police/fire services to be used. She was trying to address citizens' concerns that city money was going to be used to pay for this ceremony. I'm not quite sure how these exact costs would be calculated, but she did mention that overtime for security/emergency personnel is what has already been allowed for in the current budget. |

'Star Studded' Michael Jackson Memorial Set For Staples Center Arena by Staff Michael Jackson's memorial will be held at Los Angeles' Staples Center arena on Tuesday (07.07.09). Up to one million fans are expected to attend the star-studded service, with a further 750 million watching on TV. The singer's family has confirmed the ceremony will feature performances and tributes from a range of stars, reportedly including former Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, Diana Ross and Elizabeth Taylor. Former Miss Indiana Kellee Patterson and singer Deniece Williams, both from Michael's home town Gary, Indiana, have also agreed to perform. The Jackson family is reportedly keen to make sure the service lives up to the spectacle the singer dreamed of. The family's lawyer Brian Oxman confirmed: "It's going to be huge. Massive." In 2002, Michael said: "My funeral is going to be the greatest show on earth. That's what I want. Fireworks and everything." Nearly 20,000 people will be seated in the stadium, while giant screens will broadcast the send-off to fans who can't get in. US President Barack Obama - who recently expressed his sadness at Michael's death - is believed to have been invited. The service will start at 10am, and will reportedly last two hours. Ironically, it will be held on the stage Michael spent his last evening alive as he rehearsed for his London residency. Footage of the rehearsals - captured just 48 hours before the singer's death from a suspected cardiac arrest last week - was released on the internet last night (02.07.09). |

Fea, who is the source for the article? LAPD and AEG Live have expressed, in no uncertain terms, that people without tickets or media credentials will not be allowed anywhere near the Staples Center. I don't know where the author of that article came up with that figure of one million people. I'm guessing that those tributes will be in the form of videotaped comments from the various artists they're mentioning.

I don't think that the article posted by Sun Flower is necessarily accurate, but it's not totally inaccurate. According to Jermaine Jackson there are plans to have several memorials around the world. However, for example, within the article that sun flower posted it states the following: "Former Miss Indiana Kellee Patterson and singer Deniece Williams, both from Michael's home town Gary, Indiana, have also agreed to perform." These two are going to be performing at a memorial ... but not the memorial at the Staples center, they're going to be at one in Indiana according to the Indiana Post-Tribune. Here's a link to an article from that paper's website that details what I'm referring to: http://www.post-trib.com/news/1649252,gjackson0702.article I'd say, that the article that she posted is a conglomeration of several memorials, but I could be wrong. |

Jayne, I've been amazed at how many people have flown here from various parts of the world. A LOT of people from the UK, especially. I think MJ was even bigger in the UK than here, sort of how Paul is a bigger deal here than in the UK. I guess Michael was really beloved in the UK, as it seemed that after his last trial, he felt more comfortable among his UK fans than here in the states. |

i have been listening to his music constantly since learning of his death. i never thought i'd feel this sad, nor did i think the day would come when he'd die. he was an incredibly large part of mine and my siblings' life for 33 years now. i hope and pray to god that i get tickets to his memorial on tuesday. this man meant the world to me, and i feel i owe it to him to give him the respect in death that he gave me in life. i was lucky enough to have a good friend my whole life, who was michael's cousin. i've met him many times over and was as comfortable around him as my own family. even being a kid around him, he always seemed so terribly lonely and sad all the time. he was just about as important to me as the beatles are and i will always cherish those years we shared with him. im so honored to have met him, and pray that he now has the peace and happiness that he's needed all these years. it's all so sad. he was such a great human being, and i just hope that people don't forget what he has contributed to this world. he was more generous than anyone could ever know.he will be so, so missed |

Maybe you could go to Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills where reportedly he is right now and apparently his grandmother is buried there. I will be working when the memorial is on so I won't be watching it. Jillian, what great memories you'll have. Edited by beatlechick, Jul 5 2009, 02:17 AM.

well he was due to do 50 gigs over here at the O2 arena in London I asked friends of mine from work this week what they were doing with their tickets and they were asking for refunds i do know people though who want to keep their tickets as a keepsake - but for me, what happens to all the printed tickets for those who want their money back?????i can see e-bay being very busy over the printed tickets which would be a shame |

I think the way the tickets are being handled is wrong. I think the people should be able to retain their ticket AND get a refund. Just found out the person who did the artwork for the ticket lives and works in my City. He was apparently the last large purchase MJ made (3 paintings, one being the Wicked Witch of the West). He had his picture taken with MJ and MJ was going to give him some personal items as well. That will never happen.

well it as been reported people can either get a refund and no ticket or get their ticket and keep it as a souvienor (if you know what I mean )MJ has died who would of thought that would ever have happened so 'early' in his life I do think with his concert tickets they are doing the wrong approach - ok they need to get printing of ticket costs and things BUT MJ died - bet that was never in the contract

i think the way all of this is being handled is total sh*t. he's being even exploited in death and it's just disgusting. people should be able to get their money and keep the ticket, they paid enough for it. personally i was astounded when i learned that he was doing the 10 original shows, but to add 40 more was just lunacy. the other night i was watching a show he did in 2001, and he could barely make it through 1 song without being out of breath. i love him more than most, but i'll the the first to admit that he wouldn't have made it through the 10 originally planned shows. people always asked too much of him, and he was such a people pleaser that he could never say no. |

Jilli, I had no idea you had met him before. I'm not surprised then that you're taking his death so hard. I'm feeling his loss, too, and it just doesn't seem real. I have to say that I was always bothered by some of the facts that were brought forth in his trial, and during the first accusation that didn't come to trial but resulted in a private payout of $20 million. I could never reconcile that part of Michael Jackson with the *other* Michael -- the one who truly seemed to be such a gentle, delicate, generous and tortured soul. I never once called him "Wacko", even when it seemed so popular to do so. I viewed his eccentricities as an outgrowth of the horrible childhood he lived through and as a way to shield himself away from a world that seemed bent on devouring him whole. I just couldn't accept as *normal* his desire to sleep with other people's children, even if nothing sexual ever took place. What makes me sick is seeing so many of these *talking heads* on TV, gushing about how wonderful Michael was, knowing that many of these folks are the very ones who feasted on him when he was alive. That really makes me I don't know whether he was gay and don't really care. It's nobody's business and I wouldn't feel any differently about him if were gay or straight. I also don't care whether he was the sperm donor for his children. The only thing that matters is that he was their father in all the ways that count. None of these gossip shows or mags can erase that fact. I really feel for his kids and I hope their grandmother will be able to shield them from the ugly stuff that is sure to follow them for years to come. Edited by scottycatt, Jul 5 2009, 02:40 AM.

i never really paid attention to the whole media aspect of his life because, knowing the man he was, it was just so hard to listen to. i will always defend him because now he can't. i just wish his children were a bit older to really see how gifted and wonderful their father was. amid all this mess, they are the only ones that truly lost him. it breaks my heart to think what might happen to them. i still can't really grasp the fact that he's gone forever. in my eyes he was just about the most important person in my life and i am eternally grateful to all the kindness he has shown me. every christmas i'd get something from him, be it an autographed album or a visit to the ranch. |

LAPD, according to the local news, has 5 doctors under investigation for prescribing various drugs for Michael. Apparently, they were writing prescriptions for Michael under a variety of aliases and they're trying to figure out who was responsible for giving him Diprovan -- this is apparently the drug that finally killed him. Don't know if you saw on TV but this drug is supposed to be used only in a hospital setting as anesthesia, and should only be administered by an anesthesiologist. If too much is given, it can actually put the brain stem to sleep. The brain is what tells the body to breathe, and the heart to keep pumping. The cops did find this drug inside Michael's house after he died. These doctors and ones like them should lose their licenses, at the very least. This seems like a repeat of Elvis' death.

I told you people the stories maybe hundred times. Let me tell you again. Since I was little, I use listen to The Jackson Five. I use to sing I will be there as a little girl. At age 11, I went to this foster home. They were Jehovah witness. In on Kingdom Hall they were disfollowship for feeding a disfollowship man. Therefore, they went to another kingdom Hall and told their stories and how they were disfollowship for feed another disfollowship person who was starving. This was in Canoga park, Los angles California. My foster mother daughter already attend the kingdom hall and said, that Michael Jackson went their. Well, they told me that. So, the night to go there I was excited. We got there I looked around I did not see Michael. After being there for a little bit in walk Michael and his family. I stared at him with my eyes big and my month wide open. Poor Michael he stared at me like what is wrong with her. My eyes followed him until he sat down in his seat. My foster sister Karen came over to me and I bag her to induce me to Michael. Therefore, she went up to Reba and told her that I like to meet her brother. Therefore, she told me to just go up there. In addition, talk to him. I said, I cannot and, she said, why not, He is a person just like you and me. I said, again I cannot. So, Reba said, come on. In addition, she took me to her family and explains I was Karen’s foster sister. First, I shook Michael mom hand then the magic touch I shock Michael hand. and, he was shy didn't talk much so I ask, him how old he was he said, 17 I said, oh I thought you were my age and I said, Being young and didn't know what to say. "Oh, you are old." he did not say anything except smiled. Well, I did the same thing to randy too. However, I told Janet she was young. After, that I went and sat down during church I tried to hear Michael sing. However, though everyone I could not. When church was over Michael was shaken everyone’s hand Good Bye. I decided not to go back up to him. I did not want to make him feel UN easy I thought. I went to the kingdom Hall a few times after that. I did not see Michael. I end up getting remove from that foster home. Because, I cuss and my foster mother slap me in the month and I fell. Well, when she went help me up I thought she was going hit me again so, I slugged her. In self-defense. I felt made for years for doing that. I thought Michael did not go back to the kingdom Hall because, of me saying he was old too. I know, this sounds silly. However, for long time I even blame my self for saying he was old for him getting surgery. I know, It ridiculous. However, that thought did cross my mind.People ask, why I think Micheal is a good person. the few minutes I meet him I knew he was a good person. I felt he was. |

Dotty, thanks for repeating that story. I'm not sure where I was the other hundred times you told it, but this is all new to me. I'm sure Michael had other reasons for all of his plastic surgeries. He probably got a good laugh out of a young child telling him he was old. He probably appreciated your honesty, something he probably rarely got from all the bootlickers that surrounded him.

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b132712_lapd_gives_more_jackson_memorial_details.html?utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=rss_topstories LAPD Gives More Jackson Memorial Details Today 1:47 PM PDT Jed Jacobsohn/ Getty Images, Telegraph UK/ ZUMA Press Don't say we didn't warn you: If you don't have a ticket to the Michael Jackson memorial, don't go downtown. The Los Angeles Police Department held a briefing Sunday morning to discuss the ever expanding list of details surrounding Tuesday's events and once again, police advised fans to stay home. City officials are not naive to the expected non-ticket-holding turnout. The specific number of fans anticipated to converge downtown is a "great unknown," but looking to the past offers some idea. The funerals of other well-known icons, Elvis and Princess Diana, drew some 75,000 and 250,000 mourners, respectively, and taking into consideration Jackson's worldwide fame, the LAPD is prepping for several hundred thousand fans. Officials are still in the planning process, but made clear that unless you are a designated ticket holder or credentialed press member, you will not be allowed in the "safe zone." The "safe zone" boundaries will make much more sense to locals, but for out-of-town attendees, this area constitutes North Olympic Blvd., South Pico Blvd. and East and West Blaine St.—basically, the perimeter of Staples Center. No further details of the Forest Lawn funeral service were provided, except that there are no plans for a family motorcade on Tuesday. There was also discussion of the efforts officials are putting into maintaining a respectful distance around the area for memorial proceedings. ___________ Be there as the world says good-bye to the King of Pop. Watch the Michael Jackson memorial on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT live on E! and E! Online by Megan Masters and Lindsay Miller |

Getting a clearer picture of the memorial: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090706/ap_on_en_mu/us_michael_jackson Jackson memorial performers announced as LA braces By JESSE WASHINGTON, AP National Writer Jesse Washington, Ap National Writer 8 mins ago LOS ANGELES – The stage was set Monday for Michael Jackson's final act as the world capital of make-believe braced for what could be the biggest, gaudiest celebrity send-off of all time. Ecstatic fans who won the lottery for seats at Tuesday's all-star memorial received the tickets and spangly wristbands that will get them into the 20,000-seat Staples Center downtown. The family announced the participants will include Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Usher, Lionel Richie, Kobe Bryant, Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer and Martin Luther King III. The legal maneuvering that marked Jackson's extraordinary and troubled life also continued on Monday, with his mother losing a bid to control his enormous but tangled estate. And in one of the few sour notes sounded, a New York congressman branded Jackson a "pervert" undeserving of so much attention. More than 1.6 million people registered for free tickets to the 10 a.m. memorial, which will be broadcast live worldwide. A total of 8,750 people were chosen to receive two tickets each. The lucky ones picked up their passes Monday at Dodger Stadium amid heavy police presence. "I got the golden ticket!" one fan screamed out of his car window in a Willy Wonka moment as he drove out of the parking lot. "My mother loves Elvis. This is my Elvis," said Mynor Garcia, 29, who picked up his tickets. Downtown hotels were quickly filling. Police, trying to avoid a mob scene downtown, warned those without tickets to stay away because they would not be able to get close to the Staples Center. British Airways reported a surge of bookings as soon as the memorial arrangements were announced. Virgin's trans-Atlantic flights to San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles were all packed with fans and VIPs, said spokesman Paul Charles. No Paul so far, as had been rumored "I think this is America's version of Princess Diana. People want to be in the vicinity. People from the UK and elsewhere want to share their emotions together," Charles said. The family is also expected to hold a private funeral Tuesday morning at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles. No public funeral procession through city streets is scheduled. Some family members have expressed a desire to bury Jackson someday at Neverland, his storybook estate in Southern California. That would require legal permission. In Los Angeles Superior Court, meanwhile, a judge appointed Jackson's longtime attorney and a family friend as administrators of his estate over the objections of his mother, Katherine. Attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain had been designated in Jackson's 2002 will as the people he wanted to oversee his empire. Mrs. Jackson's attorneys expressed concerns about McClain and Branca's financial leadership. "Frankly, Mrs. Jackson has concerns about handing over the keys to the kingdom," said one of her attorneys, John E. Schreiber. Another one of her attorneys, Burt Levitch, told Judge Mitchell Beckloff that Branca had previously been removed from financial positions of authority by Jackson. Branca's attorney said he was rehired by Jackson on June 17, days before Jackson's death. Branca and McClain will have to post a $1 million bond on the estate, and their authority will expire Aug. 3, when another hearing will be held. "Mr. Branca and Mr. McClain for the next month are at the helm of the ship," the judge said. Jackson died at age 50 with hundreds of millions in debts. But a court filing estimates his estate is worth more than $500 million. His assets are destined for a trust, with his three children, his mother and charities as beneficiaries. On eBay, bids for the memorial tickets were reaching as high as $3,000, though it was impossible to establish how serious those offers were. On Craigslist, asking prices also were in the thousands. Debbie Rowe, Jackson's ex-wife and the mother of Jackson's two oldest children, had planned to attend the memorial but backed out Monday. "The onslaught of media attention has made it clear her attendance would be an unnecessary distraction to an event that should focus exclusively on Michael's legacy," her attorney Marta Almli said in a statement. "Debbie will continue to celebrate Michael's memory privately." In New York, Republican Rep. Peter King released a YouTube video calling Jackson, who was acquitted of child molestation charges, a "pervert" and a "low-life." But the memories of Jackson's problems were far from the minds of fans preparing to say goodbye. "It's the passing of a great soul," said Matt Tyson, 31, of Ojai, Calif. "He brought people together, helped express something that's in us all." In a convergence of events that many people found delightfully symbolic, the circus is also coming to town. Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey starts a run at Staples Center on Wednesday. In the predawn hours before Jackson's memorial, the elephants will walk from the train station into the arena. ___ No Paul so far, as had been rumored. Did hear this morning that Mariah Carey will likely sing "I'll Be There." Heard a very disturbing story from Harvey Levin, from TMZ.com. He was on the radio this morning, he does this nearly every week in LA, and he said that this Dr. Murray, who lives on the rented estate, waited 30 minutes before calling the EMT's. 30 minutes! Apparently he didn't know the address so waited until he found the address. That is just f*cking insane! I guess he doesn't know that the 911 system is pretty efficient and knows where you're calling from when using a landline! Unbelievable! He also stated that he talked to the doctor's lawyer who emphatically stated that the doc did not give MJ any demerol or oxycontin but no word on drug that likely killed MJ. I hope that the AMA takes his license away and that this doctor is arrested on at least neglience or manslaughter! Apparently it was the police interview that he did that made the police search the house for drugs. Jillian, I hope you got my text message about KRTH giving some tix away to the memorial. If you did, I wish you luck. I know how important this is to you.

here are my thoughts on what's gone on. (like i'm somebody, lmao). i think that doctor that was living there with him (or so it seems) is the one who administered the anesthesia (my brother is an anesthetist and has explained things to me many times), you have to be trained specifically for that. when asked if he had administered demerol or oxycontin he said no. when asked if he administered the diprivin he declined to comment. so what does that tell us? and why he waited 30 minutes is pure ridiculous. that drug can stop you from breathing. in one of my surgeries i remember they kept telling me to "remember" to breathe coz the stuff i was on did the same thing. i read somewhere else where another 'doctor' said he used to 'put him down' everynight and 'get him up' every morning...i am wondering if dr. murray put him down, then when he went to wake him up he was gone. one thing...it is probably the best way to go, if you HAVE to. he felt nothing, had no pain and just drifted off to sleep. as for the kids, i'm convinced their father is the dermatologist (they look JUST like him) so i'm wondering why they didn't artificially inseminate debbie with michael's sperm. or why didn't they just have a normal child together like most married couples? so many questions unanswered. maybe he couldn't have kids? maybe he didn't want to reproduce himself? we'll never know. been watching home movies of michael and the kids, he was truly a loving father and you can tell those kids really doted on him. i think about him everyday and pray he's at peace. he has no idea the impact he's made on the world. tomorrow will be a teary day as we watch the memorial. i'll never forget him. |

I think that they're the only ones that have any access to any tickets left. The outpouring of people who wanted to get tickets, some were even being auctioned off at ebay (no big surprise there) for $10,000 before ebay pulled the plug, just proved how much people wanted to be there. This station will also be doing the memorial over the radio. I think they're one of very few in the LA area that will be. |

it was beautiful. still wiping tears. what a wonderful celebration of his life. i am so touched by all who genuinely loved him. everything was perfect although i had no idea what stevie was singing (he should have sung Smile as he did when he was little). Jermaine singing with his heart was so moving. brooke's recollections of their friendship, maya's writing for him, usher breaking down, marlon's speech :(, and brave little paris, such a delicate flower, who was lucky to have him as her daddy. (yes, i REALLY believe that, too). i'm sure it wasn't easy but he gave them a fun-filled 10+ years of himself. i can't say it enough, my prayers to them all. |

You know, I meet a few stars. and, out the guy stars Micheal and his family were only ones who shock my hand and didn't act like there was something wrong with me. I shall always cherrish it for rest of my life. Also, I like to add the music group who didn't shake my hand are not famous any more. and one guy that played on welcome back carter is aso, not famous any more. |

I was in an eye appointment when the memorial was going on, but I caught bits and pieces of it later on the news. OMG, I totally lost it when I saw Paris. That poor sweetheart. My heart goes out to all of Michael's children.

Even though I had to be awake at 3am to watch the memorial, I'm glad I did. I thought it was very respectful and dignified. I was particularly moved by Usher and his tribute, and by Marlon Jackson's eulogy. The single glove worn by Michael's brothers was a nice touch, but I absolutely lost it when young Paris Jackson made her tribute to her Daddy. It humanised Michael and he would (and should) be so proud of her. |

Jackson Riddled with Injection Marks
even though he did things that weren't considered 'the norm' he was still a god artist and entertainer. sadly though I still feel he will be more remembered over his allergations rather than his talent

those memories will always be with you xxxx you know so many famous people!!! keep all your memories alive xx

Being young and didn't know what to say. However, that thought did cross my mind.
