Macca moment of the morning; (Geez, I just love alliteration)

So, about 5 minutes ago, as I was listening to Breakfast with The Beatles with Chris Carter, here in L.A., Chris posed a quiz question for the chance to win a prize.

Question: Who was the photographer for the cover of Chaos and Creation in the Backyard?

So, knowing the answer, I tried to call in and win but was greeted with the dreaded busy signal that I've come to know and despise.

Chris says "I do believe we have a winner", then proceeds to put a caller's voice on the air.

The caller says, "I am the photographer's brother, and the photographer was Mike McCartney." Chris replies, "That would make you Paul McCartney." :o :D

Paul says "I win a prize."
Chris says "You've just won a copy of Ringo Starr's CD Choose Love."
Paul replies, "Whoopee -- just what I've always wanted."

Bev - you were sharing the phone line with Paul - that's almost like winning! So, is that bugger in your neck of the woods?

Alliteration always appreciated

Billy, I'm sure it was all a set-up, but it played out great on the air! Paul is a regular *visitor* to this show. And Ringo, too. May Pang does the weekly Beatles news on the show. B)

Check it out, Sundays from 8am - 11am, PST. I think it may now be available online.

yes the show is available online. KLOS 955 fm, or something like that.

I tried for that, too. Unfortunately the prize was not for Ringo but Fab Four tickets. I called once to give Chris some info and was put on hold for quite sometime. I remember getting mad for being on hold for so long, at least 5 minutes, only to find out that the person I was on hold for was ...........PAUL!!! Chris actually put me on hold for THAT bloke!  HOW RUDE!!!

We do know that Paul listens, and know for sure that Ringo and Tom Hanks do.

I am in Central Time. You said PST, which means Pacific Standard Time. If it's Daylight Savings Time, I was thinking you meant an hour later than Standard Time. I know it's confusing   :circles:
