Hi. New here on this Beales-forum.
Finally it's time for me to visit "Macca-Mecca" :peace:
A.K.A Liverpool...
Thought I could use some tips about places to visit there.
The Beatles Museum of course...
What else?
Shops and everything related to the Beatles or the music from the 60's?

I'd be very happy for some advice.
I'll probably go there the last weekend in August or the second weekend in September.

Welcome! I do believe that the last weekend in August is the Mathew St. Music Festival. Lots of Beatle music performed by bands who come from far and wide. That really is a great time to go but is very crowded. Hotel rooms will be at a premium. You need to schedule a tour of John and Paul's childhood homes. The Cavern and the Cavern walks are a must. There is also a tour of Liverpool that is fun and of course there's the Ferry 'Cross the Mersey! I loved Liverpool when Iwas there nearly 5 years ago. I haven't seen the newest hotel though. A Hard Days Night Hotel I hear is quite nice. A walk along Albert Dock is really fun and will take you to a gallery and some good restaurants there.

So many great places to go to there. I would love to go back!

Thanks a lot for that. I've read about that music festival... i'm not really shure if I'll go that weekend. It's hard to finda hotel thatr weekend. I'd relly would like to stay att "A HArd days night-Hotel" but i's hard to find a date when it's not "full-booked".
Well, I'll try to find another hotel.
BTW, sorry about my bad english... I see that I often make strange translations from my swedish.

Try posting your inquiry on the "Things We Said Today" forum. You'll probably get more replies, as not everyone visits other parts of this board. -_-

Why?

Don't worry. You're English appears to be pretty good. From what I understand, AHDN Hotel is pretty expensive. There are quite a few hotels around Liverpool.

I was in Liverpool last year when Macca played Ansfield. I HIGHLY recommend "Blundellsands Guesthouse." It is a gorgeous place run by a lady named "Liz" who is very hospitable and knowledgeable. There is a trainstation 3 blocks away from the house and took just 15 mins to get into central Liverpool.
