Well, that was good for a few laughs. Especially the bit where his van gets attacked by an out-of-control concrete island at the gas station. :lol: BOYCOTT SUNOCO STATIONS To help me, public, please boycott SUNOCO gas stations. They owe me over $500 for the damage their too low to be seen island barriers did to my van door last 4-11-'09. They have revealed themselves to be venal, irresponsible, greedy, sleazy, cheap and incon- siderate of the public and need to be taught a lesson by all of my millions of fans. You are better off not using their gas anyway as I have discovered reason to believe that they get their oil from Mexico which is not as good as the light, sweet oil from abroad. Oher brands of gas are everywhere and you must just make a decision not to buy gas from SUNOCO as a political favor to me who has been harmed by them. They need to feel my pain and only millions of you denting their sales numbers can achieve this desired result. Do it for yourselves but do it for the sake of brave heroes like me and truth, justice and the American way. Stick it back to the greedy megacorporation for me, America. SUNOCO has, so far, asked for this retaliation and they deserve to lose $500 million in sales per year for their bad attitude and unsafe stations. Help me, everybody. Do it. That's right, BOYCOTT SUNOCO GAS STATIONS. They are the essense of too big to care, in my opinion, and I'll tell you why; I first ran into their greed and dishonesty when I tried to use my credit card for gas and was charged ten cents per gallon more, yet there were no signs to warn me of this difference. Usually there are two prices advertised when this is the case. Not at mean, sneaky Sunoco, though. So I found myself in Hollywood, Florida this past April 11th at the intersection of 441 and Sheridan St., on empty, and, reluct- antly, pulled into the left turn lane to gas up at a Sunoco station there. I then tried to get out of that lane to go across the intersection to a Chevron station to pay an ad- ditional two cents a gallon to spite Sunoco but could not. I pulled into the station to find most of the visible pumps adorned with out of order bags over the pump handles so I drove between their old fashioned split island next to their building to pump #1 only to find that it, too, was out of order. So I pulled forward to jockey into yet another stall when I felt something dragging my van down to a stop. I thought it was a six inch curb, at first. I got out to discover a monstrous, four foot long, eight inch deep gash/dent in my sliding door!!!!!!! I snagged one of their two foot tall, grey painted, too short to be visible, razor edged concrete island guards. Most stations use four foot tall, curved over the top, six inch diameter U shaped bars with diagonal stripes, such as the Chevron staion across the street does, as do most other modern stations. I looked and saw recent paint from two other cars, one black and one blue, on the same barrier. I saw that virtually all of their guards had evidence of similar mishaps. A subsequent photo session revealed to me that this barrier CAN NOT be seen from my drivers seat as my door panel, rear view mirror and dash hide it from view at every stage of my entry to that pump. It is too low to be seen, even from my van which has no extending hood! I immediately called the Hollywood police to file an accident report and detective James Hetzel immediately sided with the station and even told me, before even looking at their barrier, that he was going to write that; "You just can't drive." I explained that I had never had this happen to me ever in my life except here at this station. He failed to get the stations evidence of insurance and gave me no information regarding Sunoco or who its owner was. When I asked the clerk for the owners number he wrote it down wrong, possibly deliberately, and I had to go back and ask for it again. For this I was threatened with a police call. I called Julio, the owner, and he told me; "I just really can't be bothered by this right now." and hung up on me! I called back and left a message, since he refused to answer his phone. When I called again, later, he threatened me with a harassment charge if I ever call again. I am in the process of investigating whether his station's barriers are up to code and if they are to take steps to rewrite the law in this regard. Florida IS the "South" and it is not as ambitious or up to speed as California is and I may have to picket this station with a two sided billboard; "THIS STATION DENTS CARS" and "SUNOCO CO. IS SLEAZY" I will do what I must to bring some fairness and accountability to this incident that I am completely a victim of. I am one of the very best drivers on the road and know an unsafe hazard when I see it. This is one hazard that cannot be seen until it is struck. Please hurt SUNOCO back for me and tell all your friends to make Sunoco feel a one bil- lion dollar hit, per year, in their national sales, readers. Meanwhile I will likely put one of their free stickers next to my dent and make another sticker to read; "BOYCOTT" in front of it until I replace and repaint and reletter the door. I will also be filing a case in small claims court for what it will cost to fix including all involved expenses; travel, gas, time lost from work, filing fees, etc.. I am a poli- tical activist and I will not let them victimize me this way. Furthermore I will change the state's code system to force all stations to have four feet tall, smooth edged island guards so that all paying customers are not similarly victimized by greedy, uncaring, cheap, exploitive and selfish big oil companies.
