This is George's does whatitsays on the tin 1969 solo effort on the short lived Zapple. I suppose it's possiblesomeone here has heard it so if you have, go ahead and let the rest of us know what we're missing. 1. When did you first hear Elecrtonic Sound? Did you buy it for yourself and approximately how old were you? 2. What were your first impressions of the album and what is your opinion of this album now? 3. If you care to, please rate the tracks out of 10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest); 1. Under The Mersey Wall - 2. No Time To Spare - 4. Which is your favourite and least favourite track? Please give reasons! Cheers! |

1. When did you first hear Elecrtonic Sound? Did you buy it for yourself and approximately how old were you? I bought it myself when about 20. 2. What were your first impressions of the album and what is your opinion of this album now? I thought what a waste of money. It was awful. Only opinion I have is that it's worth some money! 3. If you care to, please rate the tracks out of 10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest); 1. Under The Mersey Wall - 0 2. No Time To Spare -0 4. Which is your favourite and least favourite track? Please give reasons! Both awful! Might just as well tune a radio and listen to the static. It's cheaper ;) |

1. When did you first hear Elecrtonic Sound? Did you buy it for yourself and approximately how old were you? Believe it or not, I heard it on the radio. There was a program on the indie station 3RRR called Schlagers which was a complete Beatles chronology and played everything they had ever done including masses of bootlegs back when they were really hard to find. But I digress. I would have been about 17. 2. What were your first impressions of the album and what is your opinion of this album now? I taped the show, but it remains the only time I had listened. I was very disappointed. I had always been a fan of the Moog synthesizer and the idea of George playing with one sounded interesting, but it became clear he didn't know how to program it. However, as you say, it does what it says on the box - Electronic Sounds. Not so much music. 3. If you care to, please rate the tracks out of 10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest); Haha! 4. Which is your favourite and least favourite track? Please give reasons! The run-out groove isn't bad. Cheers! Big ears. |

This is the only 'George' solo album I did not buy, simply because I could not find it when it was originally released. I must say I was not too intrigued to search for it, later on. |

It may be the only Harrison album I don't have or not familiar with. Perhaps I've heard it back in the day. I'll have to check into that. |
