This is John's first true work outside of The Beatles but is Two Virgins the album we'd expect from the one time leading light of thegreatest band in history? 1. When did you first hear Two Virgins? Did you buy it for yourself and approximately how old were you? 2. What were your first impressions of the album and what is your opinion of this album now? 3. If you care to, please rate the tracks out of 10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest); 1. Two Virgins No.1 - 2. Together - 3. Two Virgins No. 2 - 4. Two Virgins No. 3 - 5. Two Virgins No. 4 - 6. Two Virgins No. 5 - 7. Two Virgins No. 6 - 8. Hushabye Hushabye - 9. Two Virgins No. 7 - 10. Two Virgins No. 8 - 11. Two Virgins No. 9 - 12. Two Virgins No. 10 - 4. Which is your favourite and least favourite track? Please give reasons! Cheers! |

I've never heard this album. The few seconds I heard on some documentary would make me give evey track a big 0. Same goes for the next one he released, Life With The Lions. |
| With every mistake we must surely be learning. | |

I agree with what Paul McCartney said about John & Yoko's endeavors at this time. He said, "I love and respect John, but it doesn't give me any pleasure". John was doing what John needed to do, obviously, and these were things he did for himself, not for the public, at large. So, no, it wasn't enjoyable, but, I'd give my right arm if he could do another one today. |

I know I heard it right when it came out, but my memory is escaping me as to what exact date that was. I echo Gary's sentiment about one more day. I own the cd, not the album and have used it to ward off bad spirits and lingering guests. |

Barb, I'm surprised that you don't own the vinyl! Back in the day, everyone was curious to see the *naughty bits*! :P  |

I don't know why I don't have that on vinyl - I have most everything else. The picture is still on the cd though :P |

Does the CD cover contain the warning "objects in picture are larger than they appear"?? |
