I think Joni Mitchell is someone whos albums you've got to let grow on you. I've just got Blue out the library. I've always liked Carry but the other ones i'd heard Blue and Case of you left me a bit cold, even though I admired them, esp. Case of you. I'll have to give it a few more listens. I didn't like For the roses much either, but then I didn't give it enough time, perhaps. The hissing of summer lawns I listened to until I'd got to know it. I like it in parts but it doesn't seem very memorable. Court and spark is great. |

Joni Mitchell is amazing. Ladies Of The Canyon, Blue, Hissing Of Summer Lawns, Cloud, Court & Spark... - all incredible records. Some of her songs/albums you do have to listen to a few times to truly appreciate, but when you do - wow. |

"Help me I think I'm falling in love again..." I just love this song... She is adorable. Lovely voice, great songwriter and singer, a big inspiration to anyone with an open heart. |

Back in the day, I'd put my turntable on repeat and pop on 'Court and Spark'. I think I wore through the grooves on that vinyl. :blush: I'm going to have to add that to my CD collection. I think she is amazing. |
