I'm a guy and I am really lazy when it comes to gifts, so I usually just pop one of these into the mail: Wine Country Gift Baskets I've noticed that girls really like the bath and spa products or anything that comes with wine... |

lapis, you gave me a GREAT IDEA. not to say michelle's wasn't great, too, but sharon doesn't go for Vic Secret's stuff. i'm gonna MAKE a gift basket for their 10th!!! and include things in there they both like (they don't drink, either). i'm still at a loss for her 50th in july but i have time for that. she paid for most of our vegas hotel bill which was expensive so i wanted to do something extra special for her as well. keep your thinking caps on! |

Something daring and live a littleish. For her 50th I gave my mother a hot air balloon ride. I got a helium balloon with a long ribbon on the end. I tied the gift certificate to the end of the ribbon and then wraped it in a box. When she opened the box the balloon floated up and there was the certificate right in front of her eyes. She loved it! It was something out of the norm and exciting. |

I was joking about VS giftcard. It's not very creative to give gift cards as a present. I always get them, it's so cold. It must be something with your touch.

very good ideas, jayne! the gift basket site lapis sent gave me some ideas. i like the breakfast in bed idea, too! i'm gonna try to personalize the anniversary one. she loves BFM and 50's music, so i'm getting her the BFM sings the 50's, and he likes war aircraft from WWII so i'm looking for stuff like that. they both like ghost hunting! keep the idears comin. OMG...the hot air balloon was a FANTASTIC idea only sharon is terrified of flying. hahaha. loved how it was presented, though. |

You're welcome. My ex-girlfriend loved the one with all bath and spa products. They won't ship wine to Virginia so I usually get the $24.95 gift baskets that are all chocolate.
