Deleted User	As a Beatle fan I can't wait for this release. What's wrong with that? I don't think Carnival of light will be that weird. It's probably more psychedelic. I just wish they released it 40 years ago without fear.

A "lost" track recorded by the band in 1967 and performed only once in public could finally be released, Paul McCartney told the BBC in an interview, according to a report Sunday in the U.K.'s The Observer newspaper. The 14-minute "Carnival of Light" was never released because it was considered too "adventurous," McCartney said. McCartney said he has the master recording and wants the public to hear it. "I like it because it's The Beatles free, going off piste," he said in the interview. "The time has come for it to get its moment." McCartney said he lobbied to get the track included with the album Anthology when the exhaustive compilation was released in 1995, but the idea was vetoed. Of course, the Ringo Starr and the estates of John Lennon and George Harrison would still need to approve of the track's release. But short of releasing another compilation that goes over the same territory as Anthology, an online release might be McCartney's only commercial avenue. The band, which has been fiercely resistant to having their music made available for purchase online, has been the subject of frequent rumors that they were ready to make the leap. He had a guest on who supplies all the new releases to Teri Hemert, host of Breakfast with the Beatles on WXRT-FM 93.1. The guys name is Tom. George made his preference known during the compiling of Anthology and now Olivia has to decide whether he might have changed his mind by now. I think Paul is a bit jealous that John had the front to actually release Revolution 9 and defend its release, and Paul didn't. He should get over it.

Erm...well i think olivia 'there was so much love' Harrison should just stop being such a fusspot! Jeez! It's only George Harrison's thought's a bout an experimental peice of music. It's not exactly gonna make him turn in his grave! ANd it'd be different this time 'cause they had to think about how much room it'd take up on ant.2!
