Wow, this is a big shock to me, I've been watching "Meet The Press" for years! I almost feel as if I've lost a friend.

My condolences to his family.

This is huge news here in Buffalo, since he's from the Buffalo area and his father, Russ still lives here. Tim always loved Buffalo and would come up here frequently. Buffalo and the news world have lost a good guy. RIP Tim. :'(

In Paul's Arms!
My condolences go to his family. Sorry, I watch ABC news and barely remember seeing Russert. It was a big emotional time when Peter Jennings died so I am very well aware what a surprise it is for Tim's fans.

Such a shock to learn Tim has past away so quickly. I too enjoyed watching him on TV and reading his book about his dad. We lost another wonderful and dedicated journalist. My condolences to his family and friends.

They have all the city buildings flags at half staff in honor of Tim. I'm watching the NBC tribute right now.

A big shock that it was so sudden, and with a father who is still going strong. It goes to show that you never know when your time might be. Russert was one of the few US newsmen who I was aware of pre-internet since we would get Meet the Press late on Sunday nights.
Put a puppet on it.

I am embarrassed to admit that I don't watch Meet the Press but had read and seen him when he promoted his book about his father. It's very sad.

Tim Russert and Chris Mathews are my favorite political hosts, Tim will be missed. He always had the love of politics in his voice. Rest in peace.
