STUNNING poster, jillian! very impressed. well put together. i wish paul could see it close up, he could truly appreciate it. i'm enjoying this and the meet up threads just to feel like i was kinda there. sounded like an amazing time. he's still got it goin' on! but we already knew that!
Since I was in the front at the concert, I held up my original drawing a few times and I noticed Paul kept looking at it to see what it was. It was kinda funny. I love that man.

yeah i can only speak for myself but we were passin the time quite well till we got thoughly drenched and cold, those 8 hours after we saw you and ollie, till paul came on were torture. i hated the zutons only slightly less the kaiser chiefs. at 9.30 i wanted to go home.

Well at least you werent out there fron 4.40. We were completely drenched by the time the concert began. At about 3.00 I was so ready to leave, Did Olia tell you what happened with those people behind us?

Oh. You should ask her, I was so angry I was about to leave and get out of line. Then in the concert I was aalmost about to fist fight the one woman because everytime I tried to hold up my poster that cow put hers up in front of mine. Dani knows all about that...

Dani texted me and said you had a 'rough ride' with some people at the front :hmm: some people are so ignorant.

Glad to see you back home safely Jillian, Heidi and Irene

Ive heard the devil woman is back home too.

I'm off back to Anfield in a few hours - getting my car MOT so I might go and take a walk up to the ground and see if there are any posters I can cadge ;) lol :D

The seat was great but I have to wonder who they had in mind when they built that stadium. Everything was so tiny. We were on the visitor side and I heard that the other side was more comfortable. Well now I understand why there are so many fights at football games, sitting in those seats was torture. So glad everyone stood for the entire Paul portion of the show. Thanks again Peter for making it possible for me to be there.

I think I do. I'll post all mine later.

10 years? that's all! It was crazy small, built for children or maximum return on the pound :pinch: . Do you know why the entrance way is so narrow? It was really odd, made me feel like it was from medievel times.

That scarf was actually given to Jillian by one of our hosts. They live right where all the players drive in to the stadium and get all sorts of free things from them as they drive by. They were really a funny bunch. I've chosen to call them "some of lifes less fortunate" but they kept telling us "it costs nothing to be kind"

Here's a pic of one of the others, Tommy BTW that's the stage end of the stadium on the other side of the babed wire!

I'd never heard of the Kaiser Chiefs either, but they are great performers. They sure know how to get a crowd going! While they werent my type of music, I thought they were brilliant and rather enjoyed the energy they gave off. Altogether the concert was a blast. The Zutons were by far my least favourite, but thats probably because I had no idea who they were and never listened to their music before. They just didn't seem as classy or relaxed as Paul or the Kaiser Chiefs. To me all their songs sounded the same...

Everyone has to forgive me for being shattered because I am. My connecting flight from Philly to Baltimore was two hours late and it threw me off. Plus due to jet lag and total sleep deprivation I feel like the living dead. I know I'll be 100% tomorrow though. Still waiting to hear about Jayne's foot! <hint>

I will get those photos here I promise.

In the meantime, I have a small organizational announcement. As we all know, the traffic to the areas of the board that need to be active is dropping SO I request everyone to post their concert photos of Paul in a new thread I am about to start in the Paul section of the forum.

Don't be shocked everyone also when I start moving Paul photos from here to that thread. Thanks.

Thanks Barb! I was right in the front, got tons of pics and videos!
Jillian!
I am SO jealous (but HAPPY for you) that you were so close!!! I was mad when I saw how many people had cameras!! I didn't bring mine because they said none were going to be allowed and I didn't want mine taken away (I had so many pictures on it from my trip)! Dang!! :duh:
