it's pretty good, he's covered various artists from James Taylor to Neil Young to Tears For Fears to you name it. It also has the two songs that are on myspace. They are all on acoustic guitar and his lovely voice.

That day I saw him play, he told me he'd play again that night and that I should go if I wanted... but then Peter started taking his clothes off and, well, I couldn't leave the party :P
I understand. Peter's speedos and charm is something girls can't resist. ^_^

Peter is a man that I can't resist.

Speaking of men I can't resist, I received a letter today from Henry, our host at Chaos and Creation in the Backyard. He wants me to write him back. Wonder if he can help me move to Liddypool?

It was definitely the highlight of my year. I sent my Henry a Christmas card today and included the picture Tony took of the girls with Henry. I think he will get a kick out of it.

It was so great to meet everybody and put faces with names. So many hugs. So many good times.

That's really nice, Linda. I'm sure he'll appreciate it!

I had a good read back through this thread last night and it brought the trip flooding back for me. It was fantastic to meet so many of you... almost boardie overload. I wish I'd have had time to talk with some people for longer than we did. So many people, so little time. :sweet:

So many people, so little time. :sweet:
Ain't that the truth.

Henry asked us to send him baseball caps. I know that Tony and I did. Henry wrote me back and signed it Love, Henry. It's a very sweet letter, so I thought I would send him the picture.

It was certainly a highlight of the year for me and Bapsy. It was great to meet fellow boardies, just a pity we had so little time.

I was also lucky to meet Linda, Dani and Tony a few days later in London.

Now for the next big meet...
With every mistake we must surely be learning.

Dani said that she will be in London early in the new year - she's going to let me know when she's around and we'll hopefully organise something. :)

I was lucky to have three wonderful hosts on this trip--first the lovely Dani in Edinburgh. I truly enjoyed every minute I spent with Dani. Then there was Jayne and Alan and the incredible time sharing a room with Lisa and spending time with so many boardies. Next came the incredible day in London hosted by Jim and shared with Dani and Tony. What a 2 1/2 weeks I had.

THE POUND IS IN A FREEFALL!!!!! I MIGHT BE OUT OF WORK IN JAN!!!!!! BRITISH AIRWAYS IS HAVING A HUGE SALE!!!!! OMG. I may not wait for the wedding Jayne.

Really what a wonderful time we had and I can't that you enough for "rescuing me" on the night of my arrival. What an ordeal, soon forgotten by the occasion to meet so many friends. We really need to make it a tradition!!

I'd love to be able to stay for 4-5 days, I don't know if I'll be able to afford it, but I'm thinking 3 days minimum. I've never stayed more than that in Liverpool, and I'd love to do things that I haven't done yet, and revisit places like Penny Lane etc, which I last saw in 2003.

Don't change your mind, Michelle, we will have a great time!

edit I'll start a new thread

I can't stay longer too in case I go. Three days is a good idea. We can share a cheap hotel room in case hostels are not safe.
