Yesterday I went shopping with my oldest daughter in Dortmund (Germany), it was a sunny. We went to the Konig allestreet (That is the most espensive street of that city). We deed see the Channel shop with her expensive dress $ 5000 euro a piece, (way to expensive for us), we did see lots of big brand names, Dortmund has 4 four Starbucks and I did go ther to the toilet  . We did have a great day even we didn't buy anything on that street. We did visit the market and eat a brat wurst and so on. My daughter did gave me this trip as a mothers day present.
Really nice of her.

Holland did have their 65th celebration of Freedom yesterday (end of the World War 2)

Sounds like a fun trip, but in the future consider that you add -ed to the simple past tense of regular verbs. Walk - walked, visit - visited, like - liked, etc. Irregular verbs are trickier but there aren't as many. Go - went, eat - ate, give - gave, have - had, see - saw [like the playground equipment].

Linda, thank you for defending me. I was only telling that I did have a wonderfull day in Dortmund with on of my daughter. It was a great day and we did have lots of fun, it was her Mothers day gift to me from her. I'm blessed with great children.

But I only did see that some people here did try to ruined my thread. I don't understand the cruelty of it.

Are you sure you have been in Dortmund?? Because the most expensive Königsallee you are talking about is in Düsseldorf..never heard of any in Dortmund!

Dortmund is a town near my hometown, Düsseldorf is closer to the dutch border!
Düsseldorf has a big airport, Dortmund has only a smaller one..and Düsseldorf is the capital city of my part of the country, Nordrhein-Westfalen! Most of the politics of my region is decided there.

This is the Wickipedia article about the Königsallee:

I am pretty sure, you were in Düsseldorf, Fea!
Anyway, that is near to my hometown as well... it would take about less than 30 minutes to go there by car.
One day, you'll look, to see I've gone - but tomorrow may rain so I'll follow the sun

I didn't try to ruin your thread. I said the truth, I would be lost in Germany because I don't speak Germany.

When I was a teacher I had some students who didn't want to learn anything. They were happy at whatever level they'd reached and never wanted to go beyond what they already knew.
