I'm goin' down to Junior's Farm!

You guys should know who John Oliver is, right? He's that great British comedian who's on The Daily Show all the time. Anyway, I just got back to my dorm from the free show he gave at my school. We're so close the NYC, that it's so easy for people like him to come. He and the co-producer confirmed that they will try to be here during the Presidential Debate in October, again, because we're so close. His show was awesome. He did this joke about how Dylan's ex-wife's first boyfriend had to feel when giving her a gift. He said that she would say "Well, he wrote 'Sad Eyed Lady of The Lowlands' and 'Sara' for me...and what did you give me? A snowglobe! How wonderful." So, I clapped madly at the mention of "SELOTL" and was the only one in the audience that got it. So, he yells at me (I'm in the front row BTW) and goes on about how I ruined it! It was hilarious! |

Thanks guys, it was great. My roommate and I were sitting in front together and the two of us both somehow ended up becoming the but of a lot of jokes, especially during the Q&A at the end! I hope it was recorded or some pictures might be posted on the Hofstra site. If so, I'll try to post them here. |
