This show had all the classic jokes and gags and made everything funnier that it really was.

"Wocka wocka!" - Fozzie Bear
"Kermie, my love!" - Miss Piggy
"Yorn desh born, der ritt de gitt der gue / Orn desh, de born desh, de umn bork! bork! bork!" - Swedish Chef
"Did somebody say bang?" - Crazy Harry
"Me me me me me me me me" - Beaker
"AAAAAHHHH!!!" - Animal

Yeah..I love it too!
So sad I can't watch it, I haven't found it for years now in the TV program!!
And of course, I love the original version, the translation is really bad!..We have a DVD somewhere..maybe I should watch it again on New Years Eve!

My favorites were these two old men, Waldorf and Stadler, always giving their comments in between!

I love the Muppets. When I was young we owned the film 'The Muppet Caper' really enjoyed that although I haven't seen it in years.
Basically I have great memories of Jim Henson's muppets including Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street etc. I also liked The Muppet Christmas Carol.

..., Sesame Street etc. I also liked The Muppet Christmas Carol.

I grew up with Sesame Street. In the beginning they hated it here, it was something for kids, no one could understand why kids should have a own time for TV!
The first years we saw the original Sesame Street: with Big Bird (I hated him) Oscar (I loved him!) and all these other guys around...I remember it was the first time I saw a colored kid! Later these parts were german, the kids were typical, the puppets were typical...only the parts with the muppets were still the same!

Today even this isn't the same any more: Oscar is bad as he lives in the dirt, he was one of the first who had to leave, now it is Cookie who MUST eat vegetables instead of cookies...as if ANY (american) child would change its way of life when Cookie in SesameStreets starts to eat vegetables!! :duh: ..I am waiting for the moment when Ernie and Bert have to separate as one might think they are queers! :nono:

I liked Christmas Carol and all the other Muppet Films!! They were really great!

I thought they'd already split Ernie & Bert up, actually. Plus, they got rid of Big Bird's friend, Snuffleupagus, because having imaginary friends isn't healthy, mentally, for kids, either. The show has become "politically corrected" to death, really. I wonder what Jim Henson would think. You can also watch clips of old Muppet Shows on YouTube!
