...of the man's incredible inner strength, his brilliant wit, dark humour and his ability to write and perform unbelievably beautiful music. Although he was a very complex man, George was just so very full of love and spirituality, it shone through in his very underrated music. --- Why do you love George? :) |

He was a very famous and very commercial artist not afraid to publically embrace his spirituality. His music could be appreciated by anyone, whether they only saw the superficial level or if they also understood his sharp wit and the deeper meaning of his devotion to God. His music speaks to me personally, less so for any deranged stalker reasons and more because my heart beats to his rhythm. His music touches my soul where most music only causes my feet to tap. |

...for being an incredible guitarist, songwriter and singer. ...for having the guts to do a whole album with a sore throat and making it sound good. ...for his incredible humor. ...for his "I don't care what the public thinks" mentality, especially when it came to spirituality. If he listened to the crowd, we never would've gotten the incredible Living in the Material World, which brings me to the last reason... ...for sticking it out with all of us insane people livin in the Material World for as long as he could. |

It's hard to put it in words. I love George and I admire George. How he put up with so much adversity through his life, how he realized all that mattered in this world was to just be happy with one-self, money and fame was always secondary. For a man of such fame and riches to realize this just proves how strong he was. George was an amazing person that was taken away from us way too early. Inexplicably he's very underrated and many people have never heard his music outside of the Beatles. I really can't think of what else to say, I love George |

Maybe one of the things I love the most about him is his personality. Maybe he could look like a quiet man, but once he knew who was talking to him, he could be the most funny person! :) And his songs, they'so nice! |

...he wrote Something and Here Comes The Sun. He never let fame go to his head.(maybe that's something today's stars should look at),His solo work is good, but mainly unknown except for My Sweet Lord. His songs could be as wacky as John's (Only A Northern Song) or as tender as Paul's (Something). He introduced Indian music and instruments to Western ears. It's a pity he died so young. Yes,George is greatly missed. |

...he was such a humble person. ...he knew how to make you laugh, smile, cry, sing, dance, learn how to play an instrument (well, with me at least), and so many other things. ...he was so handsome. :D  ...he taught me so many things I wouldn't have learned otherwise. ...the words he said. His quotes showed me so much about life. ...and just all around...George. He was such a good person. |

...he was a human and he understood that, money doesnt make anyone a better person but self knowledge yes, understanding the world inside you and outside, and around you, yes.. His spirituality was beautiful and he wasnt ashamed to express it and sing very loud "My sweet Lord I really want to see you". The way he played guitar was unique and you can tell when it is George playing, very charming, what he didnt make in the Beatles he made in his solo career, my favourite solo career. George was responsible for the Concert for Bangladesh, he tried to use his fame and name to promote something beautiful, charity, he put Bangladesh on the map for many of us, because of him I studied Hinduism, I am not 100% Hindu, but I really like it. And the less important thing, George was pretty outside, hmmm... He was a huge fan of Formula 1, so am I. I love George.   |
