You’re always furthest away when you’re with me
Distance is relative, if we’re not together emotionally
And I don’t see many ways this can be resolved
Feeling jealousy isn’t caring about anyone but yourself
I’ve been down and learned from that very same path
It makes you appear completely self-involved.

What more can I say, I’ve done my best to understand
And my whole life around you I have planned
I’ve been prepared to give up all I have to bring you happiness
Isn’t it understandable that I’ve given up trying
Keeping me at a distance isn’t exactly implying
That you want me in your life, I have to confess.

Like when you place two magnets together
The positives repel each other
And the negatives push their counterparts away
Is it true that opposites attract
Is any cliché really accurate
Or does it only appear that way?

I don’t know what to do, I’m no expert
In these things, but I can reassert
My love for you and my willingness to do anything you ask
I do, however, need something more from you
Some warmth, affection, being a little less aloof
Please don’t allow our love to be consigned to the past.
...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

Look what you've done, you've gone and made everyone uncomfortable. :P

Yes, it's about me. Yes, I'm sure we'll be fine. You all can comment on how good it is now. :D
