A birds song The sparrows churp along Door to door him and his mate go Singing a pleasant tune Hoping for a morsel or crumb Both fly from branch to branch Hoping to find just the right spot So they lay their twigs and string Building their nest for the future Peaceful and dancing through the day Churping and sqawking at evenings dawning Letting everyone know they are home Safe in their own little place in the world How nice the two dance and sing Each spring they charm Each other with song Gracing the world with harmony and peace love doris. |
