Last night, on the PBS series, "Independent Lens," they showed the documentary, ""The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill." It was very well done and very interesting how a man could befriend and take care of all those birds. Check your local listings to see if your PBS station plays this series and see if this documentary is on there.

I've seen this three times and I never tire of it. I haven't read the book yet but, I'm heading to the book store today so I will look for it. It would be a great summer read! |
