Eh, I don't think disliking Michael Eisner should or would influence your enjoyment of the parks - other than the money in his pocket, of course! :P

Val, Gary, one thing I'm noticing is how quiet it looks in those pictures! Were they taken by you during offpeak season or the middle of the week or are those just some of Disney's advertisement photos?

By the way, I made one of the images into a link due to the page scrolling. You're welcome to edit it as an image again if you want to resize it slightly. :)

Interesting you mention how quite Disney looks....because it really WAS not busy at all...these where all taken within the past 2 weeks.... :o Must have been just a slow few days...

Great B/W photo there by the way

and RUTHIE...LMAO at you...I know your dying to come to Disney..what a great graduation gift for your son that would be!! ;) :D

Ooooh, my kind of picture. A peaceful stroll down a snowy lane....aaaah.
Did you take this one?

Hey Ruthie, I think you should come out here and experience Disneyland with me. I haven't been since 1993--yikes---but I'd love to go again---with you. Ben and I will be in So Cal at the end of the week. Meet us!

And then you could could up here and we could go looking for Tom W. I haven't seen him around town for ages but I know he's still living here...

I sometimes wish I had a software program that would keep the original quality of these photographs closer to the way they are intended to be seen.

I've been to Disneyland many, many time and taken Andy twice, I think? But, yes, I'd love to go to Disneyworld one day - just need an excuse to go to Florida! Maybe that's reason enough. ;)

Ruth, those are very pretty pictures. The black and white, slightly surreal picture reminds me of Robert ParkeHarrison's style. He is, by far, my favorite photographer so I wonder if you'd like his stuff. The main focus is the relationship between modern development and nature.

This one's called Breathing Machine.

What amazing photography. I love b/w photos.
I'll have to check out ParkeHarrison's work. Thank for posting this.

Thanks Val!

As a northern Californian, I totally love Ansel Adams. And Yosemite is so beautiful...but when I go there and take pics, they just don't look like his!

My new digital camera arrived on the same day that I broke my foot so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. When I do, I'm hoping for some pics worthy of this page.

So far, I've just been taking pictures of my elevated foot...   :hmm:

Thanks for that, Val. Ansel Adams would have to be my... second favorite. ^_^

Ruth, I'm almost positive Robert ParkeHarrison has never done anything for Tom Waits covers but I see why you'd ask with the surrealistic black and white, though I think the perspectives of both artists are rather different.

Sorry to hear about your foot, Jen!

There are two or three shots from Mule Variations that made me think so and there is even one with birds that is soooo similar to those. I don't think any of the other cover art is like that but I wish I could find my C.D. to see who did that cover art, because it really looks so much exactly like that.

There are some great pics on this thread!! :D Thanks everyone!

Here's a nice portrait too.

I've tried to 'fix' the Finnegan one, but that site won't let you display or link to that image. I don't know if it was working when you posted it, but it's definitely not now!
