Is anyone a fan? I saw bits of series two and have bought series one so I can watch it all properly. Some of my friends really like it. They are now going to do one set in the 80s I hear.

I never actually watched it when it was on, but the rest of my family really liked it. So I might also have to catch up on the DVDs at some point! (Of course John Simm is also due to guest star in the final episode of the current series of Doctor Who :))

Wow, John Simm in Doctor Who - fab! I liked what he said about the Beatles in Dec or January's Q Magazine.

i watched it a couple of times and found it to be very poor, like the majority of the viewing public. I also had quite a few complaints about the uniform and wearing of such and procedures, you may poo phrew that but one of them would lead to serious injury and death. both series suffered from a serious lack of good totty.

We're going to be watching the first series very soon - we're renting the DVDs one by one from amazon. Everyone who watches it seems to love it, so I feel as if we're missing out! ^_^
...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I was very cheeky, I bought series 1 for my Dad as everyone is talking about it and they live in France. Unfortunately I couldnt watch the last two episodes of series 1 as my brother has now gone to see them and taken it for me. What I did see was really good, so I will try and see the last 2 episodes at some point and maybe even get series 2?

It's funny but it seems this is a show that is going to carry on attracting new viewers although it's already finished.

That is what always happens after people talk, which is a good thing. Its nice when good reviews spread. I am looking forward to seeing John Simm in Doctor Who.

thats the problem with the BBC and ITV

they spend more time battleing seeing which shows can make the most money and not enough time asking the fans what they want

Fiona and I have just watched the first series - and it was really rather good. It was excellent the way they made the era so believable. We're looking forward to series two and to see if Sam ever gets home. :)
